Must have had my weetbix this morning, snapped my window winder off on the way to work, what a bastard doh

I cracked around the flange of my exhaust manifold from too many racing downhifts coming off the highway too and from work a while back, he he he, went in to get the rear muffler replaced cause all the baffel inside had broken off as well and he saw it was cracked so he ran a weld around it for me. I noticed an instant change in power when he fixed that.

That was posted on overclockers.com.au a while back, wouldn't say no to one :)

I'm keen next year to purchase another car so i can take mine off the road to do some more work to it, gunna find whatever i can afford that is registered, either AE71, AE82 *severly doubt i could find one cheap* or AE82... Then when i get my car back on the road i'll do the other one up.. ( only corollas for me :) )

I'd so not pay that much for a sprinter, i'd go the AE82 instead..

Nah, this one had the round toyota logo on the rear hatch near the lock..

I think the casing cracking around the steering column is pretty common for a ke70, mine was cracked, i may have a blue top or bottom steering casing lying around somewhere.. do you need both parts? and what exactly is the strip off the front guard your talking about?

On the way to work this morning, came across a red sprinter, i managed to get in front of him hopefully he saw my sticker, he he he, no idea what he had in it but it seemed to go quite alright..

Got a call back from the Department Of Fair Trading, he suggested that I get something out of them in writing as to why they didn't refund my money or re-warrant the alternator.. then submit the report from the other auto electrician to him and go from there..

someone has to make a suggestion of a date.. anyone???

$155 is what i paid to get the exchange alternator, apparently small claims is between $20-40 to initiate..

Its $155 + 1 days lost wages to have to go into court..
