  1. Panel van's have 4.5 gears.
  2. I hear you had overheating problems Sam. I need details. Do tell. :D
  3. Hey guys Got back about 40 mins ago. I'm sunburnt from the drive. We hardly stopped on the way home and we made it home in 8.5 hours :D We came across an Emu crossing the road as well, which I had to get on the horn to get the bastard to move. Also saw a mother Emu with her 5 or six young ones high-tailing it too. Glad to see everyone had a good time and a big thanks goes out to Jarrad for organising the trip and a big thanks to Teddy for making the trip down. Hope you enjoyed yourself dude. Hopefully we'll get more people out next year as it was well worth it and speaking of next year, we stayed over in Portland, Victoria last night and it was quite nice, so I'm thinkin' that since its our turn here to organise the trip, maybe Portland and somewhere a bit further along the coast in SA might be worth staying at for a weekend :y: I think we estimate about $300 in fuel for the Supra. So taking the rolla next year. Haha. I got 134 pics too which I'll host in a sub-directory on my photobucket account once I've got all the decent ones. Cheers Mick
  4. Ok bitches. I'm just about ready to leave. Jarrad: Sam got his car going so he's in on the trip with his mates too, so will see you at Apollo Bay. To everyone else who didn't make it this year, next year we will be doing the same thing, so I hope you can all make it. Cheers Mick
  5. Raceflorolla's head died on his car. Don't think he'll be making this one.... unless he proves me wrong.
  6. I'm pumped, I'm excited. Just gotta watch out for cops. Won't stretch the legs on the Supra too much for the trip as I'd love to have a license when I get back. See you all at Apollo Bay :D
  7. Thats my desk. Very ergonomic.........NOT! The amp is hooked up to the floor speakers there, which my PC runs through. Cranks hard, thats for sure.
  8. I'm pretty sure we're going to turn this into a yearly thing providing this one goes well but will possibly make it more central between the states so us South Aussie's don't have to travel 7 hours :)
  9. Will a 4A-C electronic dizzy fit?
  10. OH well, guess I'm the only one going from SA. Haha. Don't worry, I'll brag about it and bring back lots of pictures, just for you Ben :)

As Kalby also posted in the for sale section. The doors are shared with the KE30 2 door SEDAN.
  12. Omfg! Dude, break it up into paragraphs so its actually readable.....
  13. You forgot Redwarf's reference to Back To The Future as well :)
  14. 31? Sweet? Are you nucking futs!? Only good think the 31 had going for it was the GTS Coupe. Still, its Nissan and Nissan = Darkside :)
  15. Very mean looking. I'd own one :)
  16. The old supra rims are MA61 Supra rims which are 14x7's with a 114.3x4 stud pattern. They sell for around $350 a set.
  17. I was reading an article about this last night. It is highly possible that it will be the next Supra but it isnt comfirmed and dare I say that IF it was to be the next Supra, I'd be pretty certain they wouldn't leave it as a hybrid. Being a Supra was pretty much Toyota's road-going Supercar when released, I don't think they'd take the risk by marketing it as a hybrid.
  18. I'll even do your car for you Nawty4. Just give me a half carton of JD's & Coke and we'll call it even. I have the torque wrench and appropriate sockets. you just need to provide me with a head gasket and inlet/exhaust manifold gasket.
  19. Head gasket takes about an 1-2 hours to do dude. It's seriously not that hard to do.
  20. cameron: It should unscrew and then pull out which may require a bit of turning around of the sender unit as you pull it out. dr1ft: Its an old car. The resistor (copper wire) on the fuel sender wears out over time and they don't make brand new replacements anymore. A little bit of quick research in Google shows that this place Otto Instruments in Salisbury, Queensland, repair fuel sender units, fuel gauges etc etc. Give that a shot. I'm not sure how much they charge but if somene wants to give them a call and find out if they can repair the fuel sender units for our beloved corolla's, that would be great. Raven
  21. And I own a KE36..... :jamie:
  22. Much easier to remove the unit as one. Just as you have now found out, gotta plug that rear extension housing on the gearbox. Been there, done that before.
  23. Looks like I'll be coming to Apollo Bay in the Supra. Everyone else in Adelaide needs to let me know what they're doing in relation to a meeting point as we do only have a week to go and if you don't let me know, I'll leave without ya! :jamie:
  24. You live, you learn. Let us know the outcome. :jamie:
  25. 7k

Easier? Much of a muchness really. I know what I'd choose..... and it wouldn't be a K motor....
