mmm broken stuff. Compleatly off the recent topic, but it is a RANDOM thread after all..... Lookin through my pics and found this. it pic was taken about a year ago i think near Port Elliot, South of Adelaide. I know one rollaclub member lives in victor so he might know what it is..... WTF?????

What difference does the show make? Drift practice? whats that about? We need to know how many people are coming, to book. So i don't think we will get a number for a wile. We can organise somthing in the meentime though. So looked into paint ball....EDIT(use the link in the reply below alot cheaper) Prices are cheaper than Gokarting i think. If we go paintballing in Deep creek, it will be a nice drive there. It might be a bit far for some? no further than Victor i don't think. I allso looked into ROCKCLIMBING........ Rock climbing CLICK It works out to be about $30 for allday (6hrs) But they don't open till 12arvo. So at this stage I think we are looking at a sunday arvo doing paintball,Gokarting, Rock climbing. Thats what i thought to start with, but..... I can have everything including my amp(sucking the life out of my battery) hightbeams, windscreen wipers etc(basicly everything) on and the light doesnt even flicker. But if i turn every thing off and just only the demisters on, the light says hellow. So I didnt think that power was an issue. Or am i still wrong and need better alternator? Cheers Doug

I read this thread one night, and have now acually found my rolla(s). If you can't read what is there, the read one (mine) is at my friend who previosly owed the car, the yellow and black one is his (obvios) neighbour with a KE30 3T drift pig wich i now own as well. :yes: And thats that lovin the randome threads Douggeh PS: i used GOOGLE, whereis was crap compared.

Just realised that my KE30 is elegible to enter the Bay to Birdwood Classic run this year :yes: I guess all KE30<< would be able to enter, because wasnt 1978 when the other modle came out?? (KE35??) corect me if I am wrong. :no2: Has anyone done this before? Is it worth going? Who is going this year? Cheers Doug

Probly somthing that i have to get the ole multimeter out, and find myself but i am slack..... Basicaly, when i turn the demisters on, the charge light comes on, it isnt bright it is dull. But i think the demisters still work.??? Just wanted to be shown in the right derection, baring in mind i am not the bigest automotive guru. Cheers Doug

Probly somthing simple but.... When i turn OFF my indicators my headlights turn off for upto a second. :hmm: It has gradually gotten worse and will probly do it when a cop is infront of me :dance: and will get pulled over one day, plus its realy anoying. :yes: So any pointers to what i need to do to fix this would be great. :lol: Cheers Doug

DAMM IT!! :) I was there about three weeks ago serching every corolla, and the only 5speed i found was in a ke70 4k. I took it, because i thought it would fit in my KE30 no probs, but as most of you will tell me now I was wrong :hmm: and had to cut a hole. They carged me $90 for mine????? I just said it was out of a corolla 4k Thanks for sharing anyways people. :( Cheers Doug

WOW! umm ok..... :( I was amazed anyone botherd to read it. I don't think I realy made it clear what i was doing. I enterd the round about at about 55km, it is a large roundabout and there is realy good visability, there was nothing coming within 150 meters. I was not trying to slide around the corner or anything. One reason is I know i can't drift and I don't want to brake my rolla. I wasnt angry that the police pulled me over, because i know i was going a bit quick, and thats what there job is. I was only peeved that he was saying that he could have done that safely and that me in my rolla couldnt have. And then he was trying to defect my car for minor insignificant things, including things that came standard from toyota. I didnt talk back to them and wasnt being a smart arse. I don't want to fight but you don't know me or my driving capabilities, and you wernt there, and don't know what i was doing. And i have had my licence for two and a half years and i know i am no race car driver. In all fairness i did label it LONG RANT! :( :D ;)

:bash: :cool: LONG ANGRY RANT TIME!! :dance: :bash: So took the long way home through the hills driving about 110 (80 speed limit). No problem at all. :cool: Nearly home and turned right at a round about that i have done 100000000000000000 times before, and 3/4 through i see a cop on my left, so take a bit easyer, but still know i am smegged, coz it 11.30 and they have nothing better to do but pull a P plater over to hastle. Asked me why i thought i got pulled over, "coz of they way i took the roundabout?".......... "do you think you were going to fast?" "i know the limitations of my car and that was well within them."........ "you had no control of your car then you were just hanging on" yada yada."we have done driver training" wank wank "We have high performance brake fluid, pads etc, and this car is nearly new and looked after. Yours is 30 years old so anything could brake at any time." I was ready to hit the gye, my rolla is probly one of the most well looked after cars ever, especually against a cop car. and i don't think the brakes have anything to do with driving around a roundabout, once your in it, if you touch the brakes wile turning 90* at speed you would spin out no matter what brakes you had. and i am sure with my tyes (new, low profile 15x6'') i could out handle and out brake a big heavy comordoor. Why would i stop I HAVE RIGHT OF WAY????? :bash: idiots With that out of they way they decided to look under bonnet. I have a 5k KE30, its realy clean and looks stock. They were trying to say that there was a problem with my air filter, that it was eleagal, that it should have a hose coming off the end. I replyed "where is it suposed to go? Thats how it came from the factory." They changed the subject, and looked at my battery terminals. I have two fuses just off the positive. one for the head unit and one for the central locking, it is all insulated proply and solderd in nice. they were saying that it was realy dodjy, and if a auto electrician saw that they would have a fit. I answerd with, my dad put them in and he is a qualified auto electrician. They changed the subject again. And aventually they left.
