-

-
pin to pin? can't happen to tell me if the spring mounts are the same distance apart? i will find out sooner or later ... but thought i might ask.
-
Sorry - 13bt is gonna require a LOT more than a stock 808 diff ... its goin under the bum of the 8'0
-
I find this amusing as i just got a hilux diff that had been modded to fit a KE30 that i will be using in an 808 :( sorry i can't help with your problem ... but i got a chuckle :)

Oil leakage? thats an understatment - i have poured oil out of an oil bottle slower than it comes out of that 4AG :) haha nice to meet some of you lads ... though i now realise i didn't actually introduce myself to anyone!! haha I bailed home and fell asleep on the couch :) Bugger on the yellow sticker as well :( though its not totally understandable :D one day i will attend one in some old school corolla coolness ... but who's was the supra? or was it just a random?
-
you won't be alone in the toyota family saloons - we will be there in the aristo
-
SAP isn't that bad ;) I use it day in day out - was part of the CTC implementation team for Rio Tinto Iron Ore ... but again - i only use the CTC side of the program ... so reserve judgement on other modules :2thumbs:
-
Not sure if she has a hens night that day - so either she will come along or i will come along and bring my daughter with - she loves going for drives  especially in the aristo :jamie: oh - I managed to get some of the aristo guys to wash their cars and tag along for my wedding ;) these are just some camera phone pics taken by one of the drivers ... i am sure within the hundreds of photo's i have i will find some better ones ;)
-
oooh - couldn't make the original date of the 24th as i was getting married ... but i might be able to make this weekend  will see how i go :jamie:

My Latest Addition - Beautiful Baby Girl
manual replied to LukeAE71's topic in Rollaclub Social (Off-Topic)
Congrats mate - its the dawn of a whole new world for you! This will probably be one of the most nervous drives home when you finally take her home for the first time!!! i know it was for me! -
Our little girl turned 2 yesterday ... our wedding is in 2 weeks, so could be interesting getting her in for the photo's.. but she is a real camera hog, so no doubt we will get a fair share of decent photo's :D
-
You may not get a reply until he picks himself up off the floor hahaha just as much electronics on a 13bt as a 4age ... good work on the roll cage - its gonna boogy with a TO4E!!
-
ha - reminds me of a mates car we had to take the manifolds off of - S13 with RB25 with RB26 manifolds (so twin turbo) .... not a great deal of room to work with in there thats for sure!!
-
What he said ... good luck with the new shell and get her back on the road ... have let my brother know this is no longer available ...

That was a big thing for me when i had the supra ... but basically - as mentioned above we own outright the aristo, the laser & the 808. I am paying a 300K mortgage on a single income whilst supporting my partner and 2yr old and we have our wedding in October that I am paying for as well. Looking forward to that coming and going so the funds i have put into the wedding can go into other ventures!! it very tight on the budget when you take that all into consideration - all the bills / mortgage / 3 registrations / insurance / rates / food etc etc ... we don't have a great deal of money left over for socialising out and about but we make do ... i suppose you have to really :lolcry: wouldn't change it for the world though :lovin:
-
funny you should mention that ... we have a 1997 aristo as one of our main family cars - leather / cruise / sunroof etc etc - got one with all the fruit. I sold my JZA80 and got the aristo as a replacement. however we also have a 2001 ford laser. MUCH cheaper on the fuel ... and to be honest ... if i could get any decent money for the aristo - i would swap it out for a holden / ford wagon on LPG real quick. i have come to the realisation that if you have a weekend toy why do you need something flash / sporty / grunty for daily duties?? we have a mazda 808 in the shed copping 13bt engine conversion and when i get a place big enough for 2 toys in the shed a KE corolla will be there as well ... the laser and aristo both have good and bad points - the laser - great on fuel, the aristo - great car to drive and feels much more solid on the road. for round town duties i prefer the laser - but for distance driving (from perth to esperance and back for holiday) the aristo is a much nicer tourer. plans were originally to do 6spd single turbo conversion ... but after getting the car, getting the 6spd conversion, new clutch etc etc realised i didn't have the time and it wasn't worth the hassle so sold the 6spd conversion, the 4-pot supra brakes, the LSD ... and just keeping it stock instead.

i have a few KE55's that live around the corner from me and there is also a place around the corner that has a couple of KE30 4-doors? think KE30's ... everytime i see them i want a KE more ...
-
They just had their MAD ride ... i got a few mates with bikes - ranging from 250's upto litre bikes ... 1 with a GSXR1000 and one with an R1 ... i only have a 250 licence and used to have an RG250 (excellent little 250cc 2-stroke) but now that i have a daughter as much as i love riding, i don't see me getting on a bike again any time soon ... agree with sandshoe ... like to have the metal around me ... but i do miss the feeling of leaning over and nailing it through the bends ... oh well ... that and i don't have the time / room / money for a corolla let alone a bike :lolcry:
-
sweet!! should come together nicely ...
-
i would come along (not in a rolla) but to check out the rolla's and say hi ... but i get married on the 24th and i think that over throws a cruise :jamie: hahaha i keep seeing KE's around my area (kelmscott) and i wish i had one again ... oh well ... one day ...

i have just joined the gym again as i want to lose a few kg for my wedding (about just under 8 weeks away now) and basically i do some upper body weights 2 x a week and cardio 3 times a week ... normal cardio mon / wed / fri and weights tues / thurs. i go during my lunch break at work as the gym is in the building and with the missus and daughter - time out of the office is null  haha my cardio is basically just treadmill stuff and i am on that for 40 minutes (i have an hour for lunch - so head to the gym - get changed - gym - cool down - change back - back to office) and my weights regime normally takes about 30 minutes after a 5 minute warm up on the treadmill. weights regime they have me on is: smith machine bench press pushups squat row chest raise (i lie on a bench @ 45 degrees and pull up weights towards my chest - like an opposite bench press) tri dips bicep curls lateral raise (shoulders?) basically doing 3 sets of 15 reps of each ... i was 27% body fat when i first sized up - and my intention is to drop that dramatically. i weighed in at 90kg (only 5'9") but i am more concerned with dropping BF knowing that muscle weighs more blah blah as you all know :osama: anyways ... i am here as well trying to get fit ... so your not the only one haha

Scary Experiences In Wet And Windy Conditions!!
manual replied to ke71-rolla's topic in Rollaclub Social (Off-Topic)
not always the best advice ... what i do recommend however is get down to your local skid pan and get some advanced driver training ... they will run through with you ways to control a vehicle in unexpected circumstances. If i ever just jumped off the gas when i was in my supra when i was sideways i could almost gaurantee the tyres would grip, the car would throw the other way and you would end up facing backwards ... so yeah ... but again ... a JZA80 with 320 RWHP isn't a KE70 with a 3K and open wheel diff ... haha - but none the less look into some advanced driver training ... highly recommend it ... -
It's in the members ride gallery not project gallery - thought i was going mad!! is that how it sits now or how you picked it up? still jealous haha
-
so jealous :) our 3 car stable has an aristo, a laser and a mazda 808 ... not enough room for a corolla for me :y:
