Well fellas thanks for all the feedback as to where i should go for carbies. I just come to the conclusion though if i want to make a tough K Engine I'm going to have to spend lots of money, this does not bother me though. I suppose my next question well be what carbs are going to produce the most power for the little 4K ,Twin 1.75 SU's or Twin webber sidedraughts. (I am leaning towards the SU's because there a liitle different to twin side draughts) :D

Have you tried ebay i have seen AE86 te27 corolla that you can build and diecast models on there all the time they go pretty cheap to.

New hoses to raditor etc: Also New battery Starts first go every go.) Super jamie can you still buy Twin SU's and these are not are direct bolt on either are they. What will i need for the job, Adapter plate (sorry i have know experince with SU's) linkages or are these more simpler than i think ( I'm probally just making the job of fiiting them sound tuff).

Nope have not herd of whiteline, Super jamie iv seen pics of your previous rolla and i looked tuff and Nick seeing as you built you ae71 4k marcia from just as well scratch ill take your advice on the custom job make the rolla unique.

Does any won out there have a complete sidedraught setup for a 4kc, Which they have either laying around or wont to sell.

To 32/36 webbers wouldnt set me back $100 and carbie kits are $40, then it is just a case of the linkages and the manifold which you can get either a redline or a kb of a ke10 i belive. Where as side draughts are a lot more expensive.

What Exhaust Setup should i buy. I like Genie extractors and have aready got a set but where should i go from there what suits ke70's. I know not to go any bigger than two inch all the way through and thats what i want to do but should i have a hotdog or cannon. Tell us youre thoughts on what fit ke70's the best and what looks the best. :)

Well i have had my car (Herbie) for about 6 months. Although i havent done that much to it, i put in all my money to get the engine working fine, and body cleaned up. Specs. *1984 Ke70 corolla late model Version (like Medicine Mans Ride) *4kc stock with 134000 on the clock *3 owners in the whole life of the car and has log Books. *15x6 inch Speedy Mag Wheels To put On * New Suspension (Pedders Lovell Combination) * Twin Webbers (Have Not Made up my mind on side or down draught Yet) * 2 inch Exhaust * Genie extractors * New Cam Here is a pic More to come basically this is stock but there in interior is slightly modded. Well people today is the day. Rims are getting fitted and goodyear tyres are getting thrown on to. Thanks to everyone replying :)

Hey wait don't knock the ke70's it was produced in the 80's and does not have the rounded styling of the ke55. In fact if you wont to get pandantic the ke55 was like a halfway point between the ke30 and ke70. In a sense the engine and mechanicals are rather the same. The only difference is the stlying. I think ke70 are the bomb followed by ke30's 20's 10's, 55's are at the bottom of the list but that is because i don't think there was anything special about them. This is just my opinion but honeslty all rolla's are cool this is just my order of prefrence if i were to buy one. :S

Hey Brad when and if you wont to do the engine swap i would love to help. Seeing as you live in Tamworth as do i. There is nothing like working on rolla's. :S

Brad yeah sorry if that didnt make sense it was just a joke like mikey said you only blow that much oil and shit out if a piston is damaged. :S

The car is going to look f@#cking mad with mags and new suspension. Probally get done with in about 2 weeks just a case of getting parts and time.

Thanks Tiger love your idea about the BF's however i had to say orignally they wernt in the picture, but my mates have BF's and reckon they are the best tyre's so now they can be considered. Thanks for youre advice.

That colour looks great and i think it suits the ke70 style and age. It brings it to life. The rims of the white car would suit to and match nicely with the paint. It is going to be a ripper. :S

Yep true , should make youre engine good and look tuff. I guess it is up to Brad to get one of yours or some well else's. The best thing is though no more oil spilling out, when it happens.

Like super jamie said you can use 4AGE oil covers that are trick TRD ones. You can pick these up of Ebay for about $10 or so delivered to youre door i think it is a good investment and makes youre engine look just a bit Tuffer.

Alright looks like I'm getting a pedders, lovels combinaton. Ill let you know how much i get them for. and post pics when installed can't wait.

Seeing as i just got new Rims what suspension do you guys suggest. I have heard mixeds rumours about monroe and king springs Do pedders make stuff for ke70's and if so how much are we talking. Pricing on this does not matter if you are going to do something you might as well do it properly. So any advice would be grealty appreciated. :hammer:

Youre a 100% correct Geoff if you have got shit house spark plugs ie, rusted or damaged. Youre engine will run shit house.

Teddy that is a going to be a nice ride when finished you should be proud. What colour are you going to paint it and have you thought about rims for the beast.
