  1. The car is almost complete now, i think it looks pretty good. Will get pics later after it stops raining. However i have also decided to fix the interior. The dated brown has to go so i decided to paint the door trims black, make a custom speaker shelf and a custom centre console. so if you have any ideas or comments post them up.
  2. Ok bit of an update. I decided to paint the car and conquer the rust that was in various sections of the car. Some progress pictures old status Front view Rear view Things are starting to change now The painting stage The car is now Silver and is 99.9 % rust free. No signs of rust coming back for a while at lest anyway.

  6. Well it has been i while since i last posted anything related to corollas. About 4 months ago i bought a new project and alot has happened since then. My new pride and joy is a 1975 Ke35. Ok breakdown on what it is THE GOOD Engine: 4K, Worked Cylinder Head Ported and Polished Dished piston Titan Cam Pacemaker Extractors Carburettor: 4K, Rebuilt 1 yr ago. Gearbox: Ke70 5-Speed (Standard Ratios) Suspension Front suspension: KE55 brakes and Suspension (To fit mags). New (1yr old) Dampners. Rear Suspension: Standard Brand new dampners for rear suspension Brand new nolathane bushings Odometer: 23,000 - only been round once. Exhaust: 4-1 Extractors, into straight 2 inch pipe Interior: Imaculate Standard Tyres: Rear 70%, Front 30% I am the third owner and have log books going back to 1975. THE BAD RUST AND LOTS OF IT

  8. Well it has been a while since my last post. I now have a new Corolla. It is a 1975 ke35. I want the square headlights from a late model ke55 for my ke35. My question is will the headlights and the front grill bolt in and do i need to replace the front gaurds. Any information would be great. Regards Nick

  10. My ke70 is like that. Real Bitch to start some days Try placing a thick blanket or some old carpet on the bonnet. This helps a bit as it obsorbes the moisture in the air. A new battery couldnt go a stray either. Hope this helps
  11. Well got my rolla for a few reasons. Cheap Good for parts NA/Sleeper I like the look of them When i found rollaclub, it then clicked to me that these are thoroughbreds in disguise which is cool Thats why i got my rollas.

  22. I found an aircon setup in a ke70 in at the local wreckers. Virtually free just come and collect use your own tools. I would agree with Nick K motar sluggish and so sloooooooooooow. However i am all ears.
