This is turning into a "my form of motorsport is better"... I was simply using ANDRA as a example. I just feel that $30-40 (plus entry) for a few 30 second runs is a bit excessive.

My bet is you could find a guy in Australian to sell your front end to for a packet. What your looking for is a front like this?? http://www.rollaclub.com/gallery/members/g...86/IMG-0019.JPG Everything should be bolt on. You'll need all the front end panels and bonnet along with headlights and bumpers etc.

Was just a suggestion...well how about what ANDRA does with day licences. What if I try a motorkhana or khanacross and decide I don't like it? Theres my money down the drain.

sucks to be me...theres so many coppers around here theyd suspect something in an instant. Two up the road and an inspector round the corner. Edit: Ok it was a bit too off topic for me so I'm going to contribute my thoughts to this discussion. I hope to see more of this kind of "piss off CAMS we don't want or need you" attitude in the future. If they were supporting grass roots motorsport...where has all the money from the V8 Supercars gone? Take a look at NSW Cricket. People like Michael Clarke (young bloke who has just cracked into the Australian test side and will most likely captain the side eventually) have been nurtured by the parent organisation throughout his career. They said they would have payed several million in training him from a base level. The only thing like this I see in motorsport is Holden young lions (which seems to have dissapeared) which is soley funded by HRT (holden racing team not hormone replacement therapy...) after they had huge success with the young Craig Lowndes. So CAMS....wheres this support? Why arnt we getting free licences or other incentives to support the growth of grass-roots motorsport??

Axel Bearing Replacement
If I were to do both it would have to be on two separate weekends because I need my car :jason: unless if you can press them on that day...

Axel Bearing Replacement

Willowbank Straight Line Outing
Yep...no use having it and not using it. Take a chapter from Jay Lenos book. He has something like 80ish cars. He drives every one of them to work. at some time or another. Including some VERY rare cars including a Mclaren F1.

Axel Bearing Replacement
Who knows a good place to replace an axel bearing? Ive got a shagged left bearing and its the uncommon D series diff. Ive got a spare axel with a shagged bearing so I was gonna get a new bearing put on that. About what should I expect to pay?

don't panic... don't expect to be awesome your first run. My first run was a (suprisingly) good 0.661 reaction running a 20.239...vs a CA18DET Datto 1200 coupe running a 13.592....ahem Check the willowbank site they have a whole section there to explain what to expect etc. Test and tune is slightly different. No scrutineering. You show up...pay your money, line up in the lanes...hand your form in and get your number....

I can only assume the same applys for Test'n'Tune because its less strict. But if your not competent enough to drive in a straight line doing over 100kmph then please don't jepardise mine and others saftey and do the right thing.....
