  1. I was accually hunting for something like that from a mailing list/forum somewhere. But I can't remember where it is. Basically the guy has a TE27 (or maybe its a KE25?) running a 2T-TE with the standard manifold setup like that. Your probably right with regards to money. I can't imagine they would be cheap. The EGO sensor sounds like a good idea. At the moment I'm POSITIVE that the secondary jet is WAYYYY too large (As you can smell the fuel and feel the car bog down a bit pulling up hills). What do you think a wrecker would charge for one? I can probably get an exhaust shop to drill and weld a lug on for $20. hrmmmmm!!!
  2. schmick!!
  3. Well they come in down draft because thats what they use on the V8s (although I have seen a quad 45DCOE setup on a supercharged V8). My main idea in using a down draft carb setup is that I don't have to f*ck around with manifolds. I can pickup a 2T-GEU manifold and attached accessories for about $90...but I think I THEN have to do a twincam conversion (add another $300 for the components and then $100 for the head gasket x2)
  4. Holley sell entire down draft kits. Throttle body/injectors, ECU, fuel pump everything else you need. From 400cfm to about 900cfm I think. I'm going to try and source some prices because I'm getting sick of carbys drinking my fuel. I might as well just light a bonfire out the front and put all my money in there caws thats effectively whats happening.
  5. Ive got 3 spare SUs that are...probably not much good to recover as carbys... don't you think it would look a little suss with high pressure lines and wiring going to the vaccum chamber?? lol
  6. Lighting today was horrific. I'll see what I can do tomorrow....

  13. I say let it happen...let darwins law sort the deadshits out...of course theres the problem of collatoral damage... Operation Drag ring a bell?? Then it got ripped out from underneath everyone. I don't think its going to work like that anyway...you have to plan for those kind of things, they cost M.O.N.E.Y and you can't just say on any old friday/saturday/sunday night "I'm going to head to the track".
  14. WOW!! Finally an intellegent response to the problem instead of "bloody cops defected my car winge winge winge". THANKYOU Ron McCann!!! and thanks Fook for posting that up

From the KYB page GR-2® Premium Shocks and Struts are specially designed to provide a smooth, secure ride with excellent control for drivers who are looking for ride comfort and improved handling Gas-a-Just® High Performance Shocks' higher gas pressure keeps tires glued to the road while its superior strength monotube configuration provides durability and fade-free performance so maybe go for GR-2 front and Gas a Just in the rear... Id go for gas ajust all round but its a bugger you can't get them for the fronts.

with an old rag you run the risk of there being a grain of dirt or some metal filings in there...they do a great job of destroying your paint job....

  23. Yea...but youd expect them to be that good for the price...mmm remote hand controller. Apparently flux core shortens the life of your gun lead sleeve because it leaves crap all inside it?
