  1. I'm gonna say don't spend it on either. You're arguing against the car yet don't want to concede to the guitar.
  2. Go cart thing? Its a bloody formula car! Google translate of the title: "Formula Toyota engine start"
  3. Isn't their current stage set seats from a car (old Bentley?) and a V12 coffee table? Annnnd now I'm watching Top Gear... well there goes my Friday afternoon.
  4. Haha those guys are so great. I don't know how they keep doing it after so many years.
  5. http://www.avweb.com/avwebflash/news/dc9_hard_landing_engine_pylon_crack_venezuela_aeropostal_205485-1.html annnd that'd be a zero out of 10 for you sir.
  6. Not a great deals been happening. I went down and dropped the diff off to the mechanic on Wednesday. Next week is apparently the big week where things get moving properly. Got some generic upper rear rose joint adjustable arms, probably chinese. Welding looks alright, rose joints look alright, no REIB and they seem to be a fairly proven design. Oh, and cheap. Also less exciting for everyone else but something I'm happy about, finally got around to getting some rear swaybar links so I can run a rear bar. My car never came with a rear swaybar so its always been a bit floppy in the rear and understeers through entry and mid corner with the Bilsteins. So hopefully having the swaybar from the suspension package will help solve those problems. Of course if it doesn't work out I can just unhook one side of the swaybar.
  7. Just to go a step further, when you demonstrate you have some knowledge about the conversion when asking a more specific question about it you'll find guys falling over themselves to help you. Showing that you can talk the talk, walk the walk and you're not just another bloody tyre kicker goes a long way towards getting GOOD help!
  8. Might as well have just left the thing out all together. By the time you need it it'll be all crusty and cracked from the constant heat cycling and probably in no better condition than the tyre its expected to replace.
  9. Nice spare tyre placement there. Looks like the rear suspension was a bit of an after thought too. GM engineers: not thinking about important shit since 1959.
  10. WGMG: Telstra bringing rebecca black (her name doesn't deserve capitalisation) to Australia and Customs for allowing her into the country. What about her crimes against humanity?! Geez, seems they let anyone visit these days. Talentless dropkick.
  11. mmm bacon. I'm having to settle for cereal and a latte (oooh mr fancy pants). Spag bol for lunch but :D
  12. OK, rules posted in the first thread. As I said, I will be moderating this thread myself. Currently slaving away over this effing secondary RC server. Stupid bloody RAID card wont play ball. I never though I'd say this about a Dell but I LOVE the primary server, was so much easier than this piece of shit. Fans are really loud and droney too :S
  13. Sounds like some kind of alarm/immobiliser.
  14. I'm almost offended :P
  15. Yes Mr Clarkson :P
  16. What're you studying and where?
  17. $500,000 if I remember correctly!
  18. here here! Well done!
  19. lol ouch. Did they forget that ATL is the busiest airport in the world or something?
  20. Australian air Express and I don't share the same definition of "Express". To me, express is not "I could have comfortably driven to Sydney and back to pickup my parcel faster than you're able to deliver it". Star Track or Fastway or GTFO.
  21. Mmm chinese turbo roulette. I'd take my chances with an unknown origin used T28 over that any day.
  22. What flange is the CT20? I'm guessing they're nothing standard but you can get a brand spanking Nissan (Garrett) S15 T28 for about $900 plus shipping (or even cheaper used) if you know where to look. Worth making the jump now?
  23. I'm on a Telstra staff cap so I can't comment :P
  24. Yea its displaying their profile picture. No idea why it does that instead of avatars, I'll see if I can change it. Edit: Did a bit of digging, its actually storing the profile image thumbnails much smaller (something like 50x50 pixels max) than avatars. So you'll end up with a higher data usage if I switch to avatars which is rather important for most people on their mobiles.
  25. Turns out it was just mouse without borders being screwy with differing resolutions. The G5 lives to fight another day.
