I usually don't care about delays either, just when I'm not informed about the delay is when I get shitted off. Takes what? 30 seconds to send me an email? I don't want your life story, just "hey they've been delayed, manufacturing issues". Cool, done, I'm happy.
I've taken to sending a thank you email to everyone that does inform me that there's a delay. So far I've gotten a free shirt out of it :D. I think there's too many dicks out there who jump down vendors throats because they're being informed about a delay. Hey genius, the other option is you get to live in the dark.
