Good gear no doubt but hell, you've gotta lobotomise some pretty expensive equipment to get your hands on one.

lol yes, but seen as he isn't happy with the 2ZZ (that would be my pick of the 4cyls) and the 1UZ has too much low down torque the 2GR is a good middle ground. Should be able to source one in his area too. I can't remember exactly but I remember talking to Teddy about the 2ZZs reliability problems. From memory it stems from oil pumps shattering at high RPM. There's aftermarket options available naturally. I don't think there's anything particularly wrong with the pump design, just the materials and possibly insufficient engine balancing/harmonic balancer. RB26s and SR20s (and I'm sure heaps of others) use the same pump design, while RBs have oil pump drive problems I can't ever remember hearing of one shattering even at 9,000rpm. Certainly haven't heard of many SR oil pump failures on its own terms.

Just before everyone goes off their rocker at salman, from what I can see he lives in the middle east. For all we know street racing may not be illegal where hes from. 2GR-FE ?

That's twice the legal limit in Pennsylvania which is 0.08. He was 0.196, almost 4 times our legal limit. Sad :(

Alright guys I might try and tackle a few of these now that I'm not working 6 days a week. Mostly the mobile site stuff. If you feel like your suggestion isn't being done, don't fret. I'll often go back through this thread looking for ideas or making a list of things to do. Towe the big problem is space. Phone screens tend to have resolutions of 50-70% less than common desktop monitors. Couple that with screen sizes ~80% smaller and you run out of space if you're trying to maintain good readability. I'll have a play around with it and see what I can do. High on the list is bringing the mobile skin more into line with the full skin with regard to the for sale areas and the filters.

Not possible, iPhone limitation. You'll have to talk to old Stevie Jobs about that one.

Two peanut butter sandwiches and a container of sultana and nuts. Boring but easy to make.

Just some vandalism, easy enough to revert.

1,200 people logged on in the last 30 days. 2,200 in the last 90 days. 4,250 in the last 365 days. ~250,000 unique visitors for the rolling year with ~7,000,000 pageviews consuming around 1,400GB of data. If it feels quiet, it usually is around Christmas/New Years.

GIMP. Takes a bit to get used to but its pretty good for free and legit.

First off, you guys have terrible timing. I just had the whole of Christmas/New Year where I could have done some work on it but now I'm back at work flat chat and tired as hell. Oh well, I'll fit things in where I can. Possible but easier to move to a blog format. The current setup doesn't really suit what people use it for. Happy to set it up if people are prepared to move to it. Not 100% sure but it might be possible to migrate posts to the blog (I'm fairly certain you can). Rides are a big part of the site and I'm certainly keen to do what I can to help improve it. There is one, right at the bottom in the left corner on every page. Its a per user display option called Linear+ you can change here: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=forums Theres not an easy way to force all users to view individual forums like that but I could probably hack the skins for the for sale areas look like that.

Yea I'm just going by what the flood flag maps show and what the reality of the water level was. I think their data or modelling is just somewhat incorrect, around here anyway. In some places the flood extended 50m or so further than the maps show. Wivenhoe and SEQ waters exceptional management IMO really did make a signifigant difference. The afternoon of the 12th they closed Somersets gates completely and let it fill to full flood capacity and were releasing something like 640,000ML/day to try and keep Wivenhoes levels under control. Then on Wednesday morning they began reducing Wivenhoes releases ready for the flood waters coming out of Lockyer creek and Bremer down to 300,000ML and then somewhere around 200,000ML during the actual flood peak. I think at one stage early in the week Wivenhoe was filling at a rate of 1 million ML/day and releases were half of that so they did a good job of having enough flood storage capacity to minimise the impact of the Wivenhoe catchment on flood levels. I think without their efforts it would have rivaled 1893 levels. No worries. I've got a spare 17" LCD and no doubt I'll have a spare keyboard somewhere he's welcome to have. I should be able to drop it off after work on Monday if you let me know when/where.

Yea we're all good, just got isolated for a few days. There was at least one Medevac in the middle of the night here and a wedding party got flown out yesterday. Cleanups going remarkably fast here. I did a shift up at the emergency shelter and it was staggering the number of people bringing in food to donate. Even more staggering was that there were only a few people staying at the shelter. Everyone else had found accommodation with other people in the area, even complete strangers. I think one lady had taken in 12 people! IMO the peak up here was a fair bit higher than what all of the flood maps are showing. Higher than the BBCs flood flag maps so if that means it was higher than 74 here I'm not sure. Moggill Ferry on Monday: Moggill Ferry on Wednesday about 2 hours before the flood peak. Trev I can put together an computer for you if you need? Probably be something like a Core 2 Duo, I'll see what parts I've got. Should have a legit WinXP COA too.
