Are you able to look at whats printed on the cable? Can you find something like RG59/U? From what I can see your digital up there is broadcasted with 25kW more power than ours is in Brisbane.

Unreliable? Pfft where do you get that idea from? With $6000 you'll probably hit the gearboxes limit at something like 230kw. I think if you spend your money wisely thats an easily achievable figure for that kind of money. The gearbox is the major expensive hurdle with SRs but once you're past that and you've got forged internals, skys the limit. This is a mates old silvia. I think he ended up going close to or over 600whp. Yes it was laggy as hell, turbo was a little on the (too) large side.

Are you using the right coax or just the same old crap you used for analog? In my experience the cabling makes a bigger difference than the antenna does. I live line of sight to the Brisbane broadcast towers and had glitching problems until I replaced the coax. If that doesn't work you'll just have to wait for NBN fiber to come past your door.

Actually I can do better. I've just figured out how it stores which browser you're using so it shouldn't be too difficult to add a "disable mobile theme" link. It'll disable it for that session, maybe longer. That said I've used the full skin on my iphone now and its pretty resource heavy...

I'd rather not disable it, some like it and you save 50-300kb/page which is significant given what some people are paying for mobile data. I would like to have a link to disable the mobile skin however so I might look into how I can code that. For the mean time however I should be able to fix the skin up so you can have some (albeit buggy but I'll try and patch it up) access to the userCP. Its possible to show the subforums on the main page but its going to create some nasty clutter. You should be able to edit posts by tapping on them first, then the buttons should show at the bottom of the post to reply/edit/delete. Personally I found navigating the old forum skin with an iphone unbelievably tedious. The new skin with all its fancy AJAX show/hides etc etc I think it would be almost impossible to navigate it properly. I think this is largely the reason they've included a mobile skin now.

You guys realise that the only way any of this is possible is through funding via advertising? I mean I can't sit here for the rest of my life shelling out hundreds of dollars out of the goodness of my heart. I've done that for a few of years and now thankfully Rollaclub is, for the most part, self funding thanks largely to advertising and of course donors. I try to make the advertising as least obtrusive as possible, I despise sites that slather on the ads thick just as much as you. Encouraging people to block the ads is a great way to kill off sites like Rollaclub.
