  1. Nah there was a config error on my end which has been fixed but it means yahoo/hotmail/etc will probably still hate me for a few more days. Nothing I can do to speed the process up.
  2. Got a partial fix, see how we go.
  3. Can you check your spam folder for me? Edit: Never mind appears to be server side.
  4. You say that like I'd be leaving the original xyz in place. It'd just be a bare shell with whatever necessary fabbed onto it. If you're talking about the styling KE1x-70/86 have been done to death, AE82-102 are a bit meh and ZZEs are still too pricey. The ae112 is probably the FWD shape that appeals to me most I guess due to the sportivos and the tte WRC corollas. Interesting bit of info I've found. AE112Rs have a 10mm narrower track front and rear than an S15. The AE102R has the same track as an S15. :D
  5. Yes. If it says "New Member" then its inactive.
  6. Interesting article on /. about the possible cause of some of the unexplained accelerations: http://tech.slashdot.org/story/10/03/28/20...rom-Outer-Space
  7. Damnit shades, all I could think of at work today was how awesome a 300kw 900kg RWD AE112R sports sedan would be. I even pulled out the sports sedan rule book!
  8. "Yea mate I need a 0.0566 cubic meter sub box"
  9. I made a little story with evan quotes... Hrmmm

    Just awesome!
  11. Pfft, aside from the pink that things freaking awesome. Must be so much fun to drive. We should do the same thing to an AE112R minus the pink.

  13. Sounds like a bug. I'll have a look after the server move is done and dusted. You might be able to solve it by relogging.
  14. Overheating a K? pfft I wouldn't even worry until its boiling over. Once you know where the boiling point is you get a pretty good feel for how hot your engine is compared to every day temps. A K motor will take a lot of overheating before bad shit happens. Mine overheated pretty much every day for a year or so before I could be bothered fitting a new radiator and the motor still runs just as good as it did before. That said, on most KE70 temp gauges I've seen they start to boil around the halfway to second mark (3/4 I guess) so its possible its a little warm. It could be completely fine too.
  15. Its pretty f@$ked up what train drivers go through and most people aren't even aware of it. I cannot believe there are still people who think its a great idea to race a few hundred tonne up to multi thousand tonne train. Completely f@$king stupid.

  17. And the unofficial re-recalls begin: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/23/business/23toyota.html
  18. Oh have a cry. Only one of the threads you linked is even remotely worth winging about. The other two are awesome!
  19. They do? :jamie:
  20. I disagree. If you've got further questions based on an old thread start a new one and reference (link, quote, etc) the old one. IMO that's preferential to digging old threads which tends to annoy a lot of people, myself included.
  21. And make sure you're clear on any local laws covering them. If you get busted, not my problem.
  22. The break even times for the common types household bulbs are less than a second. Yes it is always better for energy consumption to turn off the light even if your only leaving the room for a few seconds. It may not be economical for the bulbs though. Incandescent bulbs don't care about being switched on and off much, CFLs and fluros care about it a fair bit more comparatively.
  23. Are you getting the 4096 byte sector issue?
  24. No need to delete it, theres probably a bunch of people who have never seen Toy-Yoda in action
  25. So I'm planning on migrating to a new server and hopefully that should happen starting on Friday 26th. The servers actually ready to go now but I need a weekend to keep an eye on it and seen as I'm busy this weekend it'll have to be next. So whats the plan? 1. irokin stocks up on redbull, v, no doz etc 2. Site goes down at about 6pm AEST Friday 26th 3. I finish the data sync (95% of the site has already been transferred to the new server) 4. Config checks etc etc etc few things need to be changed. 5. Check the sites functions and some synthetic load testing. Optimise some stuff. 6. Site should be back up by hopefully 12am on Saturday 27th. Probably earlier and hopefully not later. Now even though the site will be back up, expect minor disruptions for at least a few days while I fine tune the server config. Sythentic testing is good, real load is better. They'll be so small that most people probably wont even notice them, you might get a connection timeout or "IPS Driver Error". Just give it 30 seconds and try again. So I just thought I'd get the message out there in advance so I don't have a bunch of messages next Friday from people freaking out while I'm trying to work. Friday/Saturday is our quietest time of the week so I'm hoping to disrupt as few people possible. I'll try to make sure I have something on the placeholder page to occupy your time. I know the QLD Fools cruise and a Radrollaz cruise are on that weekend. I'll try and make a static copy of the threads available during the downtime and any messages regarding last minute changes of plans will be on the placeholder page. I'll make a news post next week to remind everyone closer to the date. If you've got any comments or questions, don't hesitate. Cheers, Ben
