cheers guys ,, but all the hard yards start all over again in a couple of months as its getting pulled down to a bare sheel an repainted ,tubbed, full chassis ,the 1uz goes in ,,hopefully should be back together in 12months!! fingers crossed its not a street car,, so I'm in no rush !!! adam

hey mate looking killer ,, :P just a little detail to help :bounce: ,, along the front of the bonnet an also below the grill ,,are you going to paint these the same colour that is used to paint the side corner plastics ,, to me this will look awsome for the front an brake up the black a touch :wootjump: , but hey your car man ..still looks hot :P adam

PMP man the 1uz is in the shed awiating its new engine bay to be empty an i just wanted to see what the 6 would do before it was ripped out ,,so it was a perfect chance to put it on the dyno an it was for a good cause............but yeah 1UZ is coming thats for sure ........ SPITTAO the paint colour is a ford escort orange don't remember the code sorry mate. but if you look up the year of the escort you might find it ... but i will try sus it out as it needs a paint job.. cheers guys adam

ok heres a few pics of charity event i went to with my rolla PROZAC DYNO DAY with the burnoutmasters, doing a fundraiser for the kidey foundation , we raised $940 on the day was a brillant day an my rolla was awsome for the day i had put in a stock as bottom end ,which was supplied by a mate BUT this block had been sitting around in the middle of a paddock for 4 years just covered by a tarp,so al i did was just pulled it down ,clean it out NO RINGS OR BEARINGS put it back together with my turbo head an a new solid cam , an whammo she pulled out some good figures 213.4 hp at the wheels .. i end up winning a trophy at the end being "most horsepower on a buget " which was cool as it consisted of a certificate an a set of forged pistons suited for a chev, but ended up swapping the prize for a dual stage boost controller with built in turbo timer which will come in handy .. so heres some pics an my Dyno run ... cheers ADAM

nope ,, there were only 2 ..4 cylinders out there an one them wasnt allowed on, being a front wheel drive car .. well it was a great day for all that missed it we made $940 for charity which was great ,, the dyno ran nonstop ,plenty of tuff as cars there ..sausages were awsome ......... my rolla pulled a 213.4hp but i reckon its got more ,, may hav to play with the boost a little hehe heres a few pics an vids of the day ....... http://s185.photobucket.com/albums/x283/Hu...2008/?start=all cheers guys ADAM

yeah ive seen this ,, parked on the side of the road a few times ,,with the bonnet up ,, must of had over heating problem ;) ( was in the summer time) ,,but from where i was yeah looks very clean , :hmm: adam

yeah mate that will be great ,you will save me alot of time with this part,(wiring) as for the installation looks pretty much simple so next couple of months mine should be in ... also what sort of boost are you going to run ,would the standard ecu be enough to look after the turbo upgrade , thanks again mate,, appreciate your help ADAM

yeah mate the tunnel is gotta come out anyways as it has the holden 6 in there an gotta replace the fire wall but should be worth it in the end ,, also your wiring ,,did you do that yourself or get some else to cut an shut it for ya , cheers dude adam

hey this is going to be killer ,, I to are about to start jamming my 1uz into me ke20 rolla, so mmm you don't mind if i use some of your ideas if i get stuck ... mine will be just for burnouts as most people know S.A don't hav a bloody drag strip. :rocknroll: so i too wont be going extreme with rollcages an stuff ,, as for your shed time ,,i know a mate like that will go to work ,come home see the kids ,an wife has tea then goes in the shed till god knows what time in the morning ,an then does it all over again but his wife also lays some rules giving allocated shed time ,,so some weeks it will none stop an then some weeks it will be stay inside ,,... but damn does he pull out some awsome conversions any way back to ya thread mate keep up the killer work ,, cheers ADAM

HAHA ALL GOOD FUN ........ BUT NOW LASTEST UPDATE IS SHE IS GOING FOR ANOTHER ENGINE TRANSPLANT BUT THIS TIME AT V8.............. A TOYOTA 1UZFE ALLOY MOTOR WITH RACESPEC CAMS AN ALL THE CRAP... AT THIS STAGE ITS ALL MEASURMENTS AN STUFF BUT PIC UPDATES WILL FOLLOW SOON ONCE MOTOR IS IN AN BOLTED UP ... BUT HERES A LITTLE CLIP FROM MURRAY BRIDGE AUTOFEST 2008 ...........
