Yeah it's slow but once it's done it'll be wicked, yeah once i get the rolla done i'll be there every week untill it's pulled off the road :yes: but untill that day the SNS will be there to keep the rc spirit alive haha

Yeah bud i'll be there, i think tommy might be coming out to have a look at the SNS, need more rolla's there i know i can't talk but my rolla isn't anywhere near done

also quite dangerous too, but what i've always done is undone the brake lines let the fluid leak out and while the lines are off, if it needs pads i've fitted pads too, but all you do is un bolt the strut at the bottom by undoing the 17mm bolts, while somebody is holding the steering wheel to stop the strut from turning, then get a big flatblade screw driver and push it inbetween the swaybar and chassis, then lean down on the screw driver and pull the strut out from the lower control arm, then compress the spring, get a 19mm socket onto the top nut, and either hold the top flat cut out on the top of the strut, or get a pair of vice/multi grips onto the very top of the inside of the strut, near where the top of the spring sits and work against yourself to loosen the top nut, then remove spring and repeat process only in reverse, if you understood any of that, and if you pull the brake lines off remember to start your bleeding process off from the farthest brake away from the master cylinder :yes:

Check your lower control arm, strut, wheel bearing adjustment, check where the lower control arm mounts into the crossmember, all these thing may have been bent, or put out of shape/adjustment when your car decided to dive at the gutter, i would suggest replacing all the above things then get a wheel alignment, and get them to check it out and see how bad it is, cheers Justin

Oh true so you started out slow got faster then got slow again haha, well probably would be alot better in the officers eyes driving around the old rollas too, i've moved up too the falcon and now draw alot less attention to myself driving the falcon mind you i try to keep it inconspicous, but the cushioned button and minispool don't help :jamie:, would you ever get into another falcon? Ef to start with then maybe a few of the el, my falcon is on there aswell as here, just i'm under a different user name on boosted, it's a usefull site when you own a falcoon, i'd love to boost mine - snort kit ftw instant boost for 3 or 4 grand :jamie:, ed xr wheels aren't the prettiest of wheels are they? They were also ef xr wheels too :jamie: i don't mind the old ftr's, i honestly wouldn't mind a a set of bf typhoon wheels but they don't really come in e series offset :jamie:, unless you wanna run 25mm spacers which are quite illegal in most states if not all states, how did you adjust to going from the 4litre's down to the 4k?

Hay mate are you on boosted falcon at all? Do you have anymore pics of your e series falcons, were any of them boost enhanced at all?

You can have my cut stock rears for $15 and it'll sit the body just over the top wheel on a 13inch wheel, ;) haha beat it by 5 bucks thats a bargain right there

If it's a 2wd one i've owned one before apparently there known to do headgaskets, they are really good and strong utes if you look after them, OT i don't think you or anyone should go to obrians as they really like to rip people off try a wreckers and see if there is one there without a rooted windscreen, off topic again but they stand up really well in nose to tail crashes at 60 kays an hour i know this for a fact as i've done it was quite annoying coz it was my form of transport and i took a loan out against it :headbash: i'll upload some pics i took if anybody wants too see it? But yeah only thing that moved in the car was the feet heater aircon pipes under the dash

Ladies and gents i would like to know how close are 3/4/5K series dizzy's to 2/3 t series dizzy's i'm asking coz i have a t series electric dizzy and i'm thinking about boosting a k motor and was curious as to how close the splines are on the bottom of the dizzy and if the oil pump drive has a straight slot or some weird shape for the dizzy to sit into any help is much appreciated thanks guys and girls, cheers Justin

Mad plans for a rona waggs man a mate of mine got a 1j into one of these in a sedan though, but in the end it wont be a daily it will turn out to be a big project because thats just what it's like being a toyota driver :lol:, in saying that good luck with the conversion man i'd like to see this thing in person but i dunno if your in bris or not, what are the plans for brakes and all that stuff thats required for an engine conversion legally :/

So delete the battery and it'll be easy to work on? haha, that looks alot easier than what i thought for a j pipe, is that a wrx turbo i see there? Yeah i picked it up cheap off boostloosing $150 with next to no shaft play up or down side to side! It was cheap as chips, yeah if there were more 5k's around i'd use a 5k but they seem to only be in SA, and thats a fair drive from brisbane for an engine

Cool what are they like iridium plugs or something or just really good plugs? Would a ballbearing t28 from a s15 be too big for the k motor? Oh for the J pipe on your engine could you please pm me some pics of it so i have a generall idea of how long to make the J pipe

Retarded timing or advanced? I'd imagine retarded for the increase in compression inside the cylinder chambers? Am i right? TAZ when i under take this thing man i will have a million questions for you bud, just letting you know in advance too dude, oh another thing too man is there anyway to get a de comp plate or something like that put in between the head and block like they do with the 4age's and fords n/a 4l's from e series to help not break anything as fast?

Did you try the search button?? Either that or put a turbo ca18, 3tgte, 2tg they are getting more common now being transplanted into the rolla's, turbo sr20, 1j, 2j, rb 20/25/26, 30/25/26, you can put anything into anything aslong as you have the money and a really good engineer
