  1. the best thing to do if there tight is feed a rope into the rubber on the inside the channel that hooks over the rooflining and use even pressure to push it out, use lube and you should get it out easy, dishwashing liquid or inox will do. Or you could get a windscreen fitter around and theyll do that, you have to be pretty damn rough with toughened glass to break it, sometimes you gotta inch them out but theyll come eventually getting it back in will be easier

This thread has made me tired
  3. I think ill just buy one off Trev, its actually not to bad the one in there I just gotta be gentle hitting it into 2nd and reverse grinds sometimes, only when theres people watching me though, like in public I need grip on the front, it doesnt like the rain this thing, I got decent tyres on there but there not the right ones, I thought the clutch was slipping yesterday but its was just the wheels spinning every gear change
  4. heres what I mean with the panel repair, it looks shitty to me plus after I cleaned the motor, still needs work
  5. thats awesome mate, ill be sure to get in touch with you guys when I start seeing some money stay in my account. ive given up gambling so I can mod this car, ive decided its worth doing up I would have got the tint done this week if I didnt go out on Friday, the wheel arch is done now but the panel beater was useless and it doesnt line up with the gaurd so I told him I'm not paying the full $100. I guess you get what you pay for
  6. man I wish I could do what some of you guys are doing, I'm gonna have to read this website for a few years and try to learn some stuff
  7. toymods looks good, thanks alot mate
  8. I had 2 corollas a few years ago I didnt realise they had a cult following, I sent them both to the wreckers, I think they were Ke 70 both of them. I actually regret that more than selling my Vk
  9. I fixed the radiator today. it seems everytime I get in it now it goes better and better, I'm worried about spending money on it now though especially after seeing how cheap a 2001 wrx goes for these days, if the 4age isnt worth spending money on then ill scrap the corolla project. doesnt seem like anyone here likes the 4age which is scary considering its a corolla forum
  10. great looking car, I'm jealous I'm not as clever as you
  11. My brother bought a corsa today, its a funny little thing, the motor is facing the right way but its a front wd straight as an arrow though and it actually has Air con but gutless, maybe ill put the 4age in that lol
  12. I will be interested in a few weeks for sure mate. with the supercharger, can I just buy one and do it myself? because ive seen them go for around $350 on ebay so far all I can to do is fix the gearbox and put extractors in it, some dark tint would be nice to I would definately have a supercharger in there if I could do it cheap enough, I need that low end torque. fun car to drive though either way, typical rust around one of the rear wheel arches but ill get that done this week
  13. The engine really is much cleaner than that now, I didnt realise how much better it is now until I saw those pics lol
  14. I picked up this baby for $1200. its got great torque @4000rpm - 7500rpm but it needs something done to it so I can take off with the power it has at the higher revs. I just replaced the lhf hud and it handles like a dream now, its also just had a clutch in the last year, the gearbox doesnt go into 2nd if I'm doing over 50kph for some reason and its annoying because it does over 90kph in 2nd before its redlines anyone have a suggestion? I'm just a newb when it comes to talking about cars but I'm trying to learn. I pulled the motor apart and cleaned it since I took these, I also got pulled over by the department of transport and they gave it a green ticket, which is good apparantly because they let me go
