I have a suspiscion I wont be feeling too well on the 6th, so thats out for me. Plus I don't own a 'rolla anymore :( Still keen to come along though if I can!!!
-
Yes it will fit, BUT (and this may not be relevant) you could run into issues with the carb fouling on the standard exhaust header. With twins on my old 4K the pump linkage hit the hotbox.

I was quoted $175 for 7K plenum from a wreckers. Obviously then you need a computer and appropriate sensors to run it....
-
That looks like heaps of fun! don't really have an appropriate car to enter, but hope to come out and watch at least ;)
-
Just sent my motorkhana entry :) Will be spectating at wakey drift, unfortuneatley only for one day (going to foreshore as well). Looks to be an epic weekend!

Yeah baby! Dude I like where you're planning on going with this car. Tyres: I've always found 195/50r15 a good size for corolla's, plus they are cheap. Think 595 RSR Headers: Could do the 20V extractors? Cheap, need a few mods to fit. Brakes: Its possible to fit SV21 camry brakes, fair bit more sizeable. Coilovers: Bazda now sells a proper kit specifically for these, and at a good price!

I third it. This. Also a second hander t25/8 could be had for around 250 if you look hard enough. Why ct20? Is it going on your T18?

My opinion is that if you want to go fast do not build a K engine (unless its got a nice turbo on it ;) ) If you want to have fun though K engines are a really good place to start!

So seeing as I'm such a nice chap, you'll let me take the new beasty for a squirt round the block Johnny? :P Will come over in the next few days if that suits, give me txt yeah?

Someone local should buy my twincam :) Best daily out there *cough*
-
Will try and get some decent pics! Shame some of you guys can't make it, if people are keen to make it happen again though nominate a day
-
Yes hillclimb would be best I think for regualar meets, and then whatever else we decide to organise. Vinnie does this mean the blue wags wont be seen again :( ? Just buy a shitter daily that you wont spend money on / or slide. And maybe a stocko KE70 for shenanigans if you can find room. I know, you could buy my twinky! lol

Spotted today at the federal Hway BP, olive green AE71 dumped on fluro orange hotwires. Sounded like a cammed 4ac in it! Didnt get to talk to the dude unfortunately.

No, in NSW there are capacity limits, which I think for a KE70 is 2.7 litres.

Well the day after a couple of us rollaclubbers will be at the motorkhana so fell free to come and watch (or even enter) Lance! I drove my KE70 up the clyde once, wasnt that bad actually. The slope isnt too terrible. Was nearly deaf by the time I got to braidwood though :lolcry:

Ok so the 10th September is locked in. Heres the details thanks to CCG's Ryan; "It seems winter is ending and its time to open your windows and sunroofs because the Canberra Celica Group is going to the Coast! This the perfect chance to get your car out for a good run and an even better chance to meet some fellow toyota enthusiasts, all while breathing some clean ocean air and eating some great food. We will be meeting at the Spotlight carpark in Queanbeyan (across the road from red rooster) at 10:00AM for a 10:30AM start (no 5AM alarms here!) from there its a straight foward cruise to Malua Bay where we can park by the beach and get some grub! This cruise is suitable for even the lowest cars and there will be no offroad or gravel so don't be afraid to bring those garage queens out for the day! (Remember to bring a full tank of fuel and a CB radio if you can.) When everyone is fed and happy we can begin the cruise home and if time allows we can make a stop in Braidwood, all in time to be home for dinner! Start time: 10:00AM Location: Spotlight Carpark Queanbeyan <---> Malua bay" I probably wont be at the Quenabeyan meet up (will join at bungendore or braidwood maybe), but the guys have extended the welcome to rollaclub enthusiasts and they are nice so don't be afraid to chat to them!

Ah I see. Well I've mentioned to the toymods dudes that some of us are keen for coast trip, and they are already organising one for possibly the 10th. So yeah that could be good (for everyone whos not busy anyway!)
-
don't forget the hillclimb :) Motorkhana should be fun, and its only $30 dudes! Not sure when coast trip will be, might be short notice. Might even go this weekend?
-
Ok this is now OFFICIALLY for sale! Buy Buy Buy!!!! :) Seriously tops daily.
-
Cool ^^ Keen to go for a coast drive soon, would likely cruise down to batemans bay for a leisurely lunch then cruise back. Whos keen?
-
Might have been Benny? His car has brake boilers on it and is bright yellow :)

Lol lol sorry I'm shit at explaining stuff. Second pipe is your return, which goes to where that threaded hole in the pump is. There should be a fitting in the box to fit it. This will probably have a restrictor in it. Get restrictor out, get some sort of thread sealant, bung the fitting in and attach that second hose. BOOM
-
Johnny that new pump you got is normal, have seen a few of those other ones though. That metal pipe would normally just screw in, but its been hacked and rubber pipe added to fit the other pump. Maybe ask one of the act boys for a new pipe. I'd say the carbys wouldn't be happy without a return, even though they have new needles and seats. Would probably flood them. Before when I said check for a restrictor, now that I think of it, its in the return (angled thingo you will have to screw in). When I got my new pump it was supplyed with a return that had a restrictor. You should probably drill it out? I always ran without one, on stocko and twin sideys.
