  1. i must admit seen it on ebay a couple of times looks very clean hence the price u paid for i believe its good value. is the silver top just second hand or reco? with no box sounds alittle pricey IMO should be a rocket when its done tho keep us posted
  2. sorry way to tired and not explaining my self properly what i was trying to say is if ur pushing it wen gets to high revs does it struggle or do revs go down prior to back firing

  6. i hear u trust me I'm always beeing told get somehing new like i had "nicer" cars b4 (in eyes of the odn people) but i like my old cars getting recognised being able to work on them with a computer degree just simply love it
  7. so u can't really tell if there was any diffrence lightining the flywheel? i been told i better have mine machined as I'm changing me k40 to k50 and while i had box out ready for the 5spd conversion id might as well do it worth it or not ?
  8. id say have to be something with spark for it to back firing while ur driving. try using timing gun see how u go. question does the car back off revs wise is u keep pushing it and it back fires? may indicate is not getting enough fuel at high revs
  9. with that welding u be laughing probly wana be aware that u probly bend the teeth on ur axels first b4 u wreck the centre so better have some spare if u don't already have one incase it happens or ur car will be out action for a while trying to find some just a thought
  10. I use repco and rare spares down hear, have u checked the timing mate i had similar problem with my ke30 used timing gun worked a treat neva ran so good b4 also distruibtor cap could need changing any crack? hows the points?

  16. ALSO GOT part numbers on the shoes N1356 and N1189 do i get the pbr one these both came out on a Ke30 and i know mine is the later model type according to gregory's its same as diagram but the guys at repco don't know which part number to order they say it may be the N1356 as its pbr I have BS 46 on inside of my current shoes means nothing to repco :P my shoes are worn un even wen i looked at the bottom of the shoes the are thin rest is thick thats y i never noticed it in first place Shameful :$ Thanks for the help
  17. AH HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA FUKEN LEGENDS WILL TRY THAT now thats smart thinking that i need bit of trouble shooting thatns FELIX & EVAN, and everyone else for put in some info will let u all know tommoro evening how i went first on my to do list after work :P
  18. sorry guys wasnt trying to make u do my work for me just respect all ur vast knowledge as lot people on here are very helpful and have been through alot of similar problems before and can find information quickly anyway enough sucking up this what i found in my gregory's Rear drum diameter 7.874inch machining limit 7.952 inch so i see if my mate has the that electronic measuring toll see if its past that 7.952 inch limit disc pads (shoes) .354inch thickness .040inch wear limit looked at both diagrams mine looks closest to late type which is on pg113 (for those of u playing at home lol)
  19. Any help on what the "correct gaps" are to me they look correct the i changed both and been working for a month and now the right one poped changed it and poped again yet i compared it to the one thats working LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME :P unless the the drum is warped dunno have to get someone with rolla knowledge to look at it
  20. lol all good man i don't blame ya thats y said if only u were closer. but yeah nah not much travel play mayb 2cm
  21. to be honest prior to me going out pulling a few hand brakies the brakes would grab pretty quick once pushing on the pedal and like it last a month first time around but now doing something wrong. Really can't be botherd pulling car apart n jackingit up again il do it tommoro. dam wish u were around the corner i get u to come and see it lol so much for starting on my 5spd conversion this brake issue is going to annoy me think il buy new shoes and see how i go but not sure its that unless one night on pulling on hand brake wore the shoes out that much that now that new piston is there its pushing to hard that broke straight away i dunno
