Andys Autos Camp rd Camperfield has couple of ke30 -ke55 -ke70 n ke36 he bit pricey on his stuff but came in handy wen needing a tailshaft there n then but NO CENTER consoles yet to find one black no cracks for my KE30 manual

yeah mate wasnt the problem bleed soooo many times every time i changed pistons obviously but yeah kept poping out just need new shoes with more meat on them and to adjust them bit tighter so that the cylinder wouldnt pop out

there is slightly diffrent yes but the thurst bearing is the same also i wont be interchanging them BUT u CAN if u want too dunno if ke70 spd box any diff to the ke35 one i have tho in saying that. what i did swap was the spring that is all. wonder weather to swap the postion piviots or just a washer under my 5spd piviot to bring it inline with the postion the 4spd one was

should have ur axels by next week sometime glad to see them goin to a good cause loving the project and good name by the Andrew lol :P

thats correct but i used my 4spd one instead as it was alot less worn strreched but still clutch not working properly i need adjust that position pivot see how i go. if i can get away with out sourcing a fly wheel to match what the 5spd came out of i will as i don't have one rather use the flywheel i have u know what i mean

well the trust bearing i been told suit all of the above models u probly right about the throw forks tho what do i do? like i said b4 5spd from ke35 thats what i was thinking about the flywheel off the 5spd orginally had if i need that as well omg so confused just want a car on the road doing my head in meant to b easy swap lmao always should anticipate hicups i spose lol IF i adjust the position pivot like i said earlier to what i think it should be compared to how it was in the 4spd really i shouldnt have a problem correct? like i measured it from the front of box to the piviot and the pivot it self the postion is 4-5mm back and pivot is 2-3mm smaller then 4spd one as 4spd has a washer under it. by adjusting the position pivot should be right as long as i do it correctly

I got CI performance CLutch and rrp $189 comes with pressure plate and thrust bearing and it is a level 2 grade if u wana know what I'm on about check the site http://ciperformance.com.au/

OK as some u guys might know i have a ke30 curently i am in process of changing 4spd to 5spd. jsut put new heavy duty clutch and pressure plate in went in car after changing everything over and found the clutch on engaging at bottem of pedal so i swaped the spring on the arm on the box with my 4spd one spring which was more tighter made little improvment but didnt fix it. so once again i pulled the boxes out and compared them side by side and measured everything from every angle i realised on the k40 the piviot bolt thing in the box is 3-5mm futher back on the box i thinking of swaping them over or puting a washer under the bolt to create more firmer clutch considering its new heavy duty and fells like there is nothing compared to b4 which had a fukt clutch. hoping this works any one come accross this b4 or any ideas or info be appriciated also the k40 is from ke35 if that helps

New carpet looks awsome mate i got some for my ke30 yet to put it in yet been to busy on mechanics side things. got any tips when putting it in? hard to cut holes in new carpet or did urs come pre cut?

OMG so spewing i misseddddddddd thisss bloady gear box was goin in and realised clutch is finished so couldnt make it :lol:

SPENT ALL DAY ON THE THE ROLLA TODAY AND STILL NOT FINISHED :y: i changed diffs arse end brakes axels diff centres bearings tailshaft brake lines BUT still need to do the gear box and rear main seal gona start early tommoro if i can even come to last point i will SOOOOOO DISAPOINTED :S

yeah got the shock tower plugs off ebay lol today spent all day changing Diffs and rear brakes i changed my jap diff to borgwarn diff put new shoes on fixed up drum brakes (hate drum brakes) lol got tail shaft out and tommoro I'm tackling the gear box putting in the 5spd and out with the 4spd and do rear main seal yay wont have to leak engine oil all time. looks like i wont be making it to the cruise :y:

Looks awsome Matt and IMO the rims suit it as has a flashy color mayb wouldnt as much on diff color but i like it :y:
