turned out to be distributor cap was fukt not enough spark at hi rpm neva would guessed it thanks for the help guys :D

would be careful with exhaust and how big u go with head work n carby 2 n a quater b good but IMO wouldnt go that size if keeping stock motor lose down low power but difinately b great a high revs

Hi guys i been a bit lazy in updating my own ride been to busy checking out everyone elses well basically spent bit of dosh on the old girl had bit of dramas with the ke30 managed to crack the distributor burn out one the leads which caused it back fire and run on 3 cylinders which in then through my timing out. Not TO WORRY changed the distributor cap after going to 3 repcos and an auto elec working out what one i had being a ke30 with a 4k motor still runing a older ignition system tho. mini denzo. changed leads fixed the timing. Next day go to drive car going great guns but hear a ratel check it out craked the y piece from the flange. SO I GOT A WHOLE NEW EXHAUST :wink: 1.75 inch with a hot dog and redback high flow muffler sounds awsome also so twat tried to break in must not have tried to hard but broke my locks so put a set of SOLEX LOOKS looking awsome. also got tired of stockies so got a set of meshies of this forum :wink: and set of JDM looking mirrors yet to put them on hopefuly tonight oh also wacked a old cd player i had lying around in worked awsome for a week and died now i don't have no music at all and cbf buying a new deck for it lol (for now) will post pics soon as i get a nice day this melbourne weather is shocking

i got same problem with my 4k when i floor it and already change leads plus and still same thing it shutters a bit the weirds thing happend to me other day it went away for a good 15 min trip but on way back on freeway go to over take and i have to go 3 quater throttle just to gain speed. I have already opend a thread in regards to this pretty sure its a carby problem I'm going over seas for 6 weeks so will have to look into it when i get back hope this helps. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=29662

whell pretty much the higher the plus eg 17x7 +30 is great IF you can't fit much tyre under your guard and want it as close to the strut as possible if like most jap cars u want the rim as close to the guard as possible and u are not putting wide tyres on you will want something like a +10 if that makes sence. plus remeber u always have little extra u can take off that off set with a a spacer but puting on a 10 mm spacer a +30 is more like a +15 get me

looks pretty tuff sorta of lost its rolla look in away its soo tuff. centerlines give it that mean look hot wide are them tyres on the arse look like 245 or something how do they fit????????????

Man u got ur self a great ke30 project there and good buy kinda jelous u got a 5k and 5spd in urs already my ke30 still got 4k n 4spd. i wana respray mine too but I'm scared at the cancer that lies benath the past owners back yard respray. whats been the hardest part about striping it back like find rust ect?

i think they suit i will have to see if i have the same problem once i get my rims from japan may need a 25mm spacer for my ke30 getting 15x7 +13

spotted RADKIDs KE55 today at mobil taylors lakes looking clean as always getting in on some cheap petrol b4 it goes up for the week lol

My rolla stickers are now on :lol: Also i got the lock striping for the seal just havent got around to getting the corner bits been lazy the striping was new too from rare spares can't wait to get the 4 corner bits so can finally get it ova and done with so far this windscreen already ows me $300 bux now i need the corners shouldnt b to much tho
