OK guys bit of an update i got the lock striping but realised i only have 3 of the original coners the other was broken when windscreen came out dooh!!! anyway i got go back to rear spares and show them the corners i do have so they can match them up. on a lighter note i will be getting Rolla club stickers soon thanks JIP :wink: also i may have a suprise upgrade of driveline on the way lol after asking heaps of questions one here and doing my research

hello all, i'm Andrew. Live in Melbourne(Taylors Lakes) I Drive a Ke30 4spd 4k, it's got a shitty canrry yellow paint job stands out like dogs u know what you can't miss it. Currently a manager at mobil service station, looking to do some cruising where are all the melb people??? don't like oldskool corollas???:P.

cheers just dunno the motor sometimes better the devil u know then devil u don't lol. but yeah i want the 5 speed thats for sure 80ks sounds like its reving more then enough and 100 is just stupid seen on other threads 100ks in 4th is around 3900rpm as apose to 3200rpm in a 5spd in a 4k. looked for specs on 4k and 5 k to compare and found this pretty much each motor 2k 3k 4k and 5k go up in 5kw increase over the years. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_K_engine

500 box n 5k n set of 13s hmmz desions but does 5k have more power? how much? is it worth changing the motor ?

ok i found a k50 5spd for my ke30 also there is a 5k motor is there much diffrence between that and 4k i curntley have and 5k?? power wise or other; didnt' no weather to start another thread maybe pm me or point me in right direction where i could make a comparison cheers guys

thats awsome guys thanks how about the Extension housings between 4 and 5 speed are not interchangeable Do i need to worry about that? when doing a straight swap with a k40 to k50 from a ke55

But i still like to clairfy a few things; if i was to get a k50(5spd) from a Ke30-ke50 i wont have to cut a hole in the floor and gear stick will sit in same possition Extension housings between 4 and 5 speed are not interchangeable so what do i have to do exactly to put a k50 5spd into my KE30. sorry guys just couldnt find the info already out there any help would be appriciated

so swaping my 4spd manual to a 5spd manual in my ke30 is straight swap with at ke50 5spd? what other boxes can i use what modifications do i need to do if any???

my clock don't work too. i want to pull it out but don't wana brake it like i do most things and figure out later oh u had to do this n that with clips ect sorry guys new to rollas any info is appriciated

CONGRATULATIONs awsome KE30 must have looked at your pics a dozen times giving me so many ideas for mine which i just got. I'm my opion this has to be one of the best around i love it so envious

thats what i am thinking lot easier painting it yellow again bets hell out of doing all door jams and that. or sus out some mesh rims or nice jdm rims out there even watanabe rims look real sporty drift look just depends on cash. i agree with above if straped for cash put some dress rings around the rims like the commodore guys do on there interceptors

Hey man better get solex locks around 100- 150 bux alot better locks much harder to get broken into u can get them from repco or other car shops.

I'm gonna pull the carby apart this week i have cleaned every thing else under and around the car bay under engine and that might as well start on that thanks guys ill let u know the out come cheers
