Howdy guys, trying to install my panhard rod, replaced the bushes. The end which connects to the diff, I'm having troubles knocking back on all the way. I've lubed it up with some rp7, and can get is so far as the thread is level with the busher, but no further....is there a good trick??? Thanks!

Another question guys haha... I get a fair bit of noise coming through where my gear stick is, i wanna reduce this so has anyone got any suggestions for a material or method to create a better seal between the chassis and gear stick boot seal thingy.....if you know what i mean haha thanks :bash:

Air Con: Looking into buying an air con system from another ke70, comes with everything required, if i bolt everything up, will it work????? Broad question i know, but a mechanic i was talking to mentiond something about a part of the air conditioning which may have to be replaced/placed in a really hot oven for a while.....can't remember what the part was called but yeah. Thermo Fan: Interested in a thermo fan, what is a good option, i've been either considering just buying a themro fan from sprints, for aroudn 60-90$, but then i also got thinking about the possibility of finding a radiator with thermo fans installed already. Waste of my time? Should i just stick with thermo fan. Thanks guys!!!!!!

Sounded as if it was coming from the starter motor, but hard to tel exactly where when I'm in the car turning it on :wink:

I listened to the radio, but only for about 30mins or so, usually doesn't drain charge from battery. Never heard that noise from that before though haha. Both Batterys were showing 13 on the multimeter, could have been loose terminals, but i checked for that....eh could have bene just one of those things!!! Suppose we will find out soon enough if it is the alternator not charging the battery :wink:

Hmm found a larger battery sitting around in the shed......fixed the problemo :wink:

Hey guys!! When i'm going to start up the car it tries to turn over once, very unenthusiastically, and then when olding the ignition on produces a steady clicking noise. All ive done today is take my carby off, retighten all the bolts to ensure there is no vacuum leak, and refit it. Once refitted the car ran fine....but now not at all!!... It's not like the clicking i heard when my Daihatsu charade starter motor went, bit slower.... Thanks for any help

I prefer the look of 13's or 14's with larger profile, keep it old schoooool! I'm runnign 15's with a 50 profile, and i rkn the rims are too big, and not enough tyre for my liking. But yeah I'm surprised u got 17;s onto the ke70!!! Doesn't look as bad as i would have thought, except for the tiny breaks hehehe :laff:

Ooook really need to get some nice pics of the car, replaced the shocks all around with monroe, front lovelle springs, rear pedders. Gonna look at and replace/repair the brake system; give the car a good service and tune. If the car is lucky i might even vacuum the interior.....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmMMM!!??? Also on the list is to possibly install my ra40 arms i have sitting around, replacing the balljoints at the same time. Also install a rear adjustable panhard rod. Then probably in about a month, go through and replace all the bushes which havent been done....and HOPEFULLY she will be running sweet for the next few years....until i decide to pull out my 4k-c and chuck in a 5k :(

hmmm yeah the dude mentioned that putting a smaller one on would provide more flow throughout the engine, maybe he didnt mean to mention pressure??
