yeah well the main reason i was going to swing towards spacers is because of the lack of room between the speaker and the window winder. have to do some scouting around and find the right ones

stereo is half in now. have the head unit and 6x9's wired up. need some advice on the speaker mounting for the front doors? pods the best way to go or spacers?

i had better start saving then! do you reckon the ol 4 speed will handle it?

not a big update guys bought some new battery terminals as the old ones are the crappy plastic coated ones, which i earlier found out are a bit of a pain in the ass to hook extra wires up to.

i see that the sa guys have a post up for an australia day cruise, just wondering if anyone from qld is planning on doing one? if it isnt too far away i wouldnt mind tagging along.

i really need to change the door cards, the other coupe has white ones so might swap them over when i get a chance. also another querie, how does everyone get around the problem with speakers in the doors? if you don't use a pod it hits the window, and if you do you bash your knuckles on it every time you wind the window up or down. neverending battle i would assume?

i am assuming you are on l's or p's then? by the time you get a turbo, all the piping, electrics, it will cost an arm and a leg, you would be better off just working the motor. shouldnt cost as much, and will probably get nearly the same power figures as a turbo setup. i did have a post on here a while back about a bloke i know who used a 5k in his clubman that made 200hp atw, normally aspirated.

you could try ebay mate? you would be suprised what you can find on there. or maybe a jap import website? i wouldnt mind a set either, might do some searching
