I didn't mention i had a few dramas the other week......got in a bit of a blue,one of the blokes thought he'd get at me through my car. long story short....got a few dents in the roof over the passenger side,nothing a heat gun wont sort out. picking up my other 2 e7's in the next few weeks getting the shed established again finally.......will be able to get some real work done,think my bro's on board this time too....x2 production! will update as i go. cheers josh

yes the rims have been flipped and re welded! the whole car is purple and yellow! what do you mean? it was yellow,its now purple,i worked the yellow engine bay & door jams into the whole colour scheme of the car and to be honest,I think it looks sweet! I will be loosing the re trimmed center console though,after some junky dog thief broke into it and knocked off my H/U so they could go score or some shit! they ripped the c**t open so i can't reuse it! thinking ill just repaint it in the metallic purple i done the highlights in! maybe just screw a rubber boot down to the floor? i dunno? Ive sorta been swayed with this car is the sence i'm not sure what I'm gunna do with it? give me a month and ill have something sorted! josh

nah only actual rotary engine i have is in bits,with a f@$ked housing.......cheaper to do 4ag conversion....think i can buy a complete running fwd 4age and convert it tp rwd for less than a new housing and seal kit.... I've only got a neat capella for sale,stock 1600 auto,with x member and clutch setup to do conversion. few rx4 parts,gearbox's etc etc....basically got everything but a running engine,lol over rotas for now....just don't have the funds to run or maintain one atm.....let alone a rebuild! I need a job!! Cheap rego and the few discounts you get on a pension isn't worth the shit money!

Finished em off today......next time i'll be painting the band and center b4 i weld them in.....that was a prick of a job! pics have to wait till monday b4 i can afford tyres.....and now i gotta find a pair of 15" meshies or something for the front to run with em!! josh

Not exactly but there true all the same.....spun them on the balancer and checked by eye b4 i welded them, there only rears so it wont matter anyway! josh

Thought i'd post up some pics of some rims i just made,well modified anyway...... Had a pair of 15x7" 4x114.3 chasers sitting around the yard for a few years now,originally from a 2001 Kia Carnival(i think) I bought a few sets cheep when i worked at bob jane,but these were all i had left. they were obviously FWD offset,so a ghastly fit on any datto or rolla....... Now i'd done this b4(out the back)when i worked at bob jane,with the exception i didn't weld them, so i sorta knew what i was doing......Anyway I got to grinding away the old welds,slowly and carefully....although i still slipped and nicked the rim a few times,Until they were about gone. then i evenly tapped the edge with a chisel until i could see the center start to separate from the rim. I then bolted the rim to an axle i had lying around,and using it like a one of them post whacker-iners(lol) i knocked the center out of the rim. Then I basically flipped the center and welded it in the other way! Sweet! except my valve is facing the wrong way...Shit! I drilled out a new valve hole in the other side of the rim and filled in the old one with weld! Just gotta paint them up now and they will look a million bucks! I'm gunna do the centers black with a silver rim/lip hope ya's like em! josh

yeah sorry guys.....giving this car the ass cos its more trouble that its worth,and i wont get the chance to finish it! with this car i finally thought f@$k IT! I'm building a drift car,and i'm gunna go alright,maybe get my name out there finally........Yeah rite,i did mention a got a missis an 2 kids yeah? well iv'e now been declared a selfish dog,don't think of anyone but myself,blah blah blah,same f@$kin story,because i now spend most of my free time and money on the 70 trying to get it upto scratch! f@$k I'm so thoughtless!

I'm sort of on the same boat as the rest of these guys with the flares...but i don't mind the wheels, maybe some 25-30mm spacers all round would fill them out better? post up some pics with the spacers in you have now.....might be alright? looks overrated otherwise man,keep up the good work. josh
