At first.....i didnt like the shape of mine. The VERY first time i laid eyes on my current corolla i thought "what an ugly looking car". That has now changed to everytime i see one i think "damn....i can't believe how good they look".... my love for corollas has grown and grown.....now i would be hard pressed to cope if i smashed mine up.....touch wood.... i love my corolla....its moderately fast, easy to work on, easy to get most parts for....hehe

the odometer doesn't make it look that bad....i don't have a scanner (dammit)....could i give some spare gauges to someone to scan for me? at the end of the tacho.... "Made In Japan" just before the "BOOM!"....hehehehe

apparently my temp gauge says, 21.5 degrees outside, 17.9 inside....hmmmm......and at 2 oclock this morning i watched my temp gauge go below 10 degrees outside...it was still nice and warm in here though! touche' about the nipples, nick :P

so i'm guessing what jamie is saying is, if you are going to use a catch can, connect one end to where the pcv valve normally goes, then connect the other end from the catch can to the inlet manifold (vacumn sorce). This would basically suck the oil into the can and not just rely on crankcase pressure. Providing you are using a proper catch can you'll catch the oil and the vapour and then the rest would go back into the inlet.... is that right jamie?

all depends on if i can get out of work early, as to weather i have people come back here.....

and the're iilegal..... why you ask?....because the rocker needs to vent back into the carby. it can't vent into the atmosphere.

i can't seem to find the picture of my engine bay when i installed my catch can...i'll keep looking for ya...basically i don't have a PCV valve anymore and it goes directly into the catch can....i emptied out the catch can for the first time the other day and it was about half full.....shoulda seen the crap that came out of it though....i wouldnt like it to be in my engine.

friday night might be alright....i'll give nick a call when i finish work...and we'll go from there.

i'm pretty sure they are the genuine plates...
