  1. I have spent well over $100,000 on this very unique car Gimme the same car and 20 grand and i'll make it look better than that. *puke*
  2. Nice, cheers mate. Will be good for those hard to find ones.
  3. not until my new rims are sorted :rolls:
  4. WGMG: How coat hangers are all plastic now, I need to do a rangi repair to my exhaust and there are no metal ones to be found!
  5. Wow that's a bit of a sleeper. I bet this will scare the pants off some unsuspecting drivers.
  6. Off a ke36, they may be after market though.
  7. You'll need to cut a new hole in the tunnel, pretty sure the shifter is closer to the front of the car.
  8. You can see why I wanted to tidy them up first???
  9. Damn it. :rolls:
  10. Cheers, that was constructive. Edit: As I said "rubber spacers"......
  11. Ok I can't be bothered holding back these mods I've got going. Here is one at least. Only got them today, this is just a test fit. I actually hmm'd and haaa'd whether I liked them or not, but pictured them with the wider wheels and my mind was made up in the "hell yes" kinda way. They are very "weathered". Exactly what I wanted. There will need to be some fabrication for the mounts as they are for a wagon. Probably have to make some spacers out of some hard rubber. And the strips over the roof will have to be shaped to fit. I'll let the pictures do the talking. What do ya reckon????
  12. Sorting the wheels this week. Hopefully. Still sorting tires.
  13. You can change your signature now :rolls: Seen this on a cruise ages ago, talk about gangster camber!!!
  14. Know the feeling mate, when I stripped my ksev I couldn't believe the amount of gunk I came across. Old gear box oil soaked into the carpet, spider webs in the steering column cover. It feels good once its clean and fresh though. If you have any bad smells sprinkle some bicarb soda through the car, leave for an hour and vacuum up. Works wonders.
  15. I was thinking of sticking mine on today but seems a bit more involved than I expected. Easier to stick it in the "do it later" pile and stick to cosmetics :rolls:
  16. Wow this sounds great, pity I'm on the sunny coast.
  17. Need a Facebook style "likes this" button. :lolcry:
  18. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=14411 ke70dave did it.
  19. No drift = no point locking the diff, money better spent else where.
  20. Take the carpet out and gurney it. Will prob come out looking brand new. Nice looking ride,.... go LOW :lolcry:
  21. Looks awesome :lolcry: I'm from NZ, you should see a lot of DX's over there, a lot with rotary's too.
  22. Cheers mate, yeah it's good on the sunny coast. They don't really look twice. I suppose not being super low helps.
  23. All good, honestly its hard to keep motivation if you don't have a wing man. Plus my engine is pretty tired so it probably wasn't really gonna be worth it. May wait for a decent 4K or get a 5K and a cam and build it properly. I was just bored this morning. Thanks for your help anyway guys I'll remember all that for when it does go on. On the plus side I noticed my accelerator pump arm was loose as a goose, so I stuck a washer behind the fulcrum nut and now the throttle response is a hell of a lot better. Plus some decent Castrol oil and a new oil filter just went in. :lolcry:
  24. I'm assuming the weber wont need power like the orig? As there is nowhere to plug it in? Meh, I lost motivation anyway. Might just wait for a 5k to stick it on.
