hi i was at a swap meet yesterday and pick up a genuine toyota 3k duel carby setup it has the original toyota emblem stamped on the carbies and manifold and displays these numbers manifold stamped with this number 17111-24010 carby 1 ISO 2 K22 metal tag states 24190 and carby is stamped with old toyota emblem carby 2 ISO 1 K22 metal tag states 24180 and carby is stamped with old toyota emblem and they are both Aisan carbs

got someone to do a rough idea for ya hope it helps

hi just wondering if anyone knows of any front seats from any other cars that will fit into the KE35 corolla hardtop without to much modifiying

i know its not politically correct using the term billet but thats what they call them when you purchase them

hey guys just wondering if anyone knows where i can get a couple of billet grilles made one for my KE35 rolla and one for my triton having trouble finding someone or can some one tell me what the best grade of aluminium flat or round would be good to make my own custom grille cheers and thanks for any help

the converter hardtop gave me plenty of spares will hopefully be getting another one soon

not true if you know where to look you can get lucky i got two 8" wide chromes for a torana and a brand new set of 235/75/R13's the other day from a guy that knew a guy that used to work for a tyre service centre that had some brand new tyres stashed away in his shed still with plastic wrap on them :)

yes the ferrari one looks a lot better than mustang one at least its a modern to modern conversion not a old car on a late model conversion

so was the 3.5 V6 triton good to drive got any pictures of it as i have just bought a 3.5 V6 magna motor to put into my triton

even still you could possible use the 2ltr in the rolla and it could still get it registered right or wrong because alot of people use 2ltr twin cam 4 bangers in there early rolla's and they can register them but I'm not to sure how reliably or strong the FTO V6's are and what the power output is or even what aftermarket parts are available for this motor because they are totally different to the other mitsubishi V6's that are available and also wasn't there a early camry that came out with a similar v6 in size wise

when i was researching engine options for the triton i found out that the mitsubishi FTO had two types of v6's in them a 1.6L and 2L and also they came as turbo, naturally aspirated and twin turbo now i'm thinking if thats the case because of the size of litres in these motors does that mean you could probably fit one of these motors into a rolla and still get it registered

yeah i didn't notice that when i was reading it and whats under the duct tape whats that holding and on the other hinge what is that zip tie used for the one that has duct tape on it looks like it's busted compared to the other one i would say the one with duct tape on it could be your problem

do you know if its been in any accidents where its been hit in the arse end cause it only has to be a slight tap in the backend and you can have problems i had that problem on a car that i have owned before do what people hav said to do hope into the boot with a torch and have a good look at the alignment of the boot and mark any suss areas with a texta the main area that i had problems was the latch part if thats so grab each side of the latch on the car and give it a few hard tugs then try to close the boot if it needs a bit more oomph jump back in the boot put your foot on the latch part and push real hard if unsure whether its been in a slight rear ender look under the bumper bar if its missing paint or a little bit bent then good chances are its been hit in the backend

well decided to buy the motor and bits anyway because the bloke rang me up and said i want it out of the shed and your the only one that seemed interested if you want it you can have it for $200

yeah i know i thought i would have to get a bucket makes that rolla look sexy i had to laugh at the write up about the bodykit
