sounds like a hilux i used to have if it was full it read it was empty and when it was empty it read it was full lol always thought my fuel gauge was made in ireland because i replaced the sender and the float in the tank did every possible thing and it still liked going backwards

hi i know its not a toyota question but no one has been able to help me on other forums and need to know has anyone ever put a magna v6 into a triton what do i need to do to fit it in my triton? the triton is a 2002 mk triton 2wd with the astron 2400 motor and 5spd manual the magna is a late model 1997 V6 with 90,000kms on the clock the v6 comes with the wiring harness computer and everything else basically a complete magna minus body for $450 and just wondering can i use my gearbox and what other things will i need to fit the v6 into my triton or is it not do able because of the age difference of the vehicles thanks for any help

ok got it cleaned with the gernie today and pulled the tappet cover off and can't find any stamps or anything that indicates its yella terra seems the bloke had found a yella terra sticker and stuck it onto it but its definetly still a good motor no sloppy or worn parts inside it

i havn't had a chance yet to clean the mud wasp nests and mud of the motor yet but it had a sticker on it saying its fitted with a yella terra head on the head near the back will hope fully get a better chance to clean it up and pull the tappet cover off and see if its stamped into the head on the weekend been so busy lately that i havn't had a chance to have a good look on it if it is it would be the first one i've heard of because i to didn't know yella terra made heads for rollas

it has a yella terra head on it not sure on what modifications have been done internally

hi can some one measure the hardtop corolla door windows especially the angle at the front so i can compare the panelvan windows with them as i haven't got any hardtop door windows to do a comparisin to thanks for any help

also got a sigma today for $200 with 2 days rego left drove it home and ripped out the astron 2400 motor slapped my bits on it and dropped it back into my ute just have to hook up the wires 2morow and it will be back on the road until i blow that motor up hehe

hi just wondering where can i get a duel carby or fuel injection for a 4k motor decided to stick to a 4k in the hardtop seen as the coupe i picked up on the weekend had a new 4k with 5spd box in it

yeah will be canabilising the window runners out of the rusted and rooted coupe doors

yeah will have a go picked up sum rough panelvan doors cheap so i could see if they will fit and they do its just the window frame that gets in the way will post more info on how i go with them

yeah i thought of putting airbags in it but decided not to as i use it as a ute she's been lowered but not to much after all its a workhorse but now its off the road for a new engine as i blew me motor up

hi just wondering how easy is it to convert panel van doors to pillarless coupe doors they bolt on there but you can't close the door because of the frame and wondering is it easy to remove the window frame on the panelvan doors so they will fit as every thing is the same as coupe not sure about the window glass though cheers for any help

nah its only worth stripping and being a donor for the one in my shed was left in the weather to long and has become to rusty but the motor not being run for so long hooked up a few wires placed a battery in it and a lawnmower fuel tank hooked up to it turned the key blue smoke for a bit then cleared perfect motor
