  1. Not to sure if anyone else is active south of Yatala? I'm a definite. Car's running sweet. May even cook some brownies to bring along.
  2. This looks like a good route, it'll be a wise choice too as I think I'm the only one coming from south of the city.
  3. This came on in the gym on Sunday... me and my mates acted the whole thing out. Young bird on the treadmill nearly fell off when she realised :lolcry: :lolcry:
  4. I drive this road at least once a month for fun. Great road nice and tight in places.
  5. Cheers mate, I really can't explain the feeling driving this thing daily, almost like a nice Sunday drive the whole time. It's a great feeling knowing people admire something that I've worked so hard at for. In regards to the coupe I got a call a few months after the theft from the police telling me it was burnt and dumped. Not a good end to a car I also put a lot of effort into >|
  6. Sneaky shot from today
  7. Congratulations on the new baby, great progress keen to see this rolla on the road asap :y:
  8. Nice score dude it's a cool little rig

Yew! glad somebody picked up this cool little rig. Plans sound good and it looks like you'll have a neat ride after all the nice bits go in. :y:
  10. yay keen for this! I'll scope out some places if you decide to cruise down to the GC
  11. Haha missed this post. Picked out the bed spread myself  . Cheers man, hope the console looks as good as I have envisioned, trying to balance the looks between stock and modified. :y:
  12. +1 Internets to you! it is indeed Greenmac's old one.
  13. It's a stock one that has the tape deck taken out and some pods put in with some expandable foam and fiber glassed over the top I think, repainted glossy black or dark blue with some glitter but I'm thinking of repainting it crinkle satin black to match the stock interior and I'm trying to locate some black gauges with green bulbs for the pods to make it match. 52mm tacho, water temp and voltage should be nice. Cheers Crowie.
  14. Some more parts turned up today
  15. Long story, wasn't in my car though and I didn't do anything wrong. Just wrong place wrong time kind of situation. I'll give you a text if I'm able to get there but chances are I will not. Cheers, Crowie.
  16. Cheers Reed, Sit about 8mm outside the ke70 guards  Super happy to finally get them but very angry about the license situation.
  17. I'd love to Carlos but... I've just been issued a notice by DOT to choose between 1 year good behavior on 1 point or 3 months suspended licence as I accumulated 4 points. I can't suspend my license as it will effect my future job and I don't want to risk being caught while on this probation as it is 6 months suspension and up to $4000 in fines if I accumulate any more points. The new wheels are going to sit in my room and I'm keeping my driving to a minimum :( sorry man. Cheers, Crowie.
  18. Look what the cat finally dragged in
  19. Great to hear Josh! Congratulations
  20. Cheers mate; it was the look I was trying to achieve  , I should really put some detailed pictures up to compare the shades of wood, they are almost identical. Much better than a pink dildo most kids seem to put on ke's these days. Cheers, Crowie.
  21. Cheers Ella, slowly coming together. Looking half decent for a dirty 30 :laff:
  22. More updates for the wagon! Today I finally got around to fitting the overrated dash pad I had, after 9 months of procrastination the job was surprisingly easy compared to what I remember last time. Also changed that horrid steel ball shifter knob to a more suitable and legal one. A nice length wooden shifter with a laser cut H pattern in perspex on top. Very happy with the results  Ordered some more fancy interior bits and some chrome trims to complete the exterior on Friday. Cheers, Crowie.
  23. No can do Carlos... Rego and insurance have been cashed in. The cops raped us pretty good. :(
  24. Nardi and horn button arrived today! super stoked on how the wheel feels in hand it completely changes the driving experience. Capped off a wonderful day where I quit my shit-kicker job, and acquired a much better paying job... looks like the corolla may get some extra love in the coming weeks. And now for the bad news, my wheel lips have still not arrived! I was quoted 4 weeks until they arrived on the 18th of September. >| Not happy Jan. Cheers, Crowie.
  25. Nothing wrong with a tight steering box and some well set up leaf springs  It just takes some patience and dedication; both of which Reed has and will hopefully use when looking for and modifying his next ke70 :y:
