To be honest i reckon having a cage in a daily driver would be a lot worse than having it lower and stiffer, makes the car a bit useless for daily duties, plus at a guess you'd get more cop attention

What're you using as a fisheye? Is it a filter rather than a lense? It just doesn't look overly strong, and takes up a fair bit of the photo

Yeah there's some manky stuff out there.. But man, I would kill for this.. It's an MX5 with a 'Pit Crew' bodykit, With a little work it's basically a cobra look-a-like Wanted one for a while now.. Love it. (There were much better photo's and cars but none directly linkable) You can also get a Dino front end for them

I liked the 2 door ke30, But seriously.. Cortina is so much cooler! Used to see a BRG 4 door mk1 on mini-lites cruising around, such a nice looking thing. Will be watching this space!

Actually, I reckon once it's washed it'll look a bit like mine when i got it!

She has the early dash (Non recessed gauges, different radio panel, dash pad, different dash entirely) Early tailights, no vents behind the rear windows on the pillar, no 1200 badges on the guards (1k-c), Has smaller indicators on the front guards, clear front valance/ stone tray lights not the big orange ones, Long boot badge and early grill. It's a 1967 for sure. Check the vin number under the bonnet. If it's ke10-250XXX~ or less than it's a '67

You get "Balla" as well, Which best to my knowledge is a way of describing low slung, haggard, wide as heeeeeeeeeeell drift style cars. Bunch of drift guys down here have "Balla as ʞ©$ɟ" stickers and shirts and shite

You've got to think though, a lot of driveline stress is relative to weight and punishment, Dropping 1 tonne from a VE is a lot less stress and there's a massive difference in stress running say 15x8's compared to 20x12's or whatever, and once again mechanical sympathy. Not saying the gearbox isn't needed it's up to you really but for $8k on a box alone i was thinking there'd have to be a very good reason, and that reason was what i was curious about

Wmmh: My beater, slow, auto pos ke10. It's a dunga, it's always breaking, everytime i press the brakes i'm not sure if it'll stop or errupt into flames but.. He's awesome. And what's even better is the big pile of parts all set to go in in about a months time, all i'm waiting for is shocks and tires. This month will go so slow.

Factory colours are where it's at. That factory sorta beige/ light yellow is an awesome colour
