  1. I agree!! Glasshoppa must walk beefore he can run!
  2. My personal preference is for Dunlops - but they're too expensive for everyday, more like a treat or special ocassion! then I prefer Silverstones - excellent price, don't wear out too soon and work good.
  3. Wow, that is cool!! Welcome to rollaclub!
  4. Another benefit is that dogs will protect your property to the death from strangers. I'd bark at Grim too if he came to my door and I didn't know him
  5. Oh yeah Nick, maybe you shouldn't have slagged off at Commodores to a member of the Holden Commodores stunt driving team!
  6. And could also possibly have been suggested about that driver many years ago. We all got to start somewhere - even Commodore drivers!
  7. Awww, so cute!! Dogs are so cute even when they are older because 99% of them are just so happy no matter what. Most of them have excellent personalities and are content all of the time. Most cats are snooty, mean and selfish. I note that Rob has posted pics of George (he's like a Ken doll - stupid but cute) but none of Alice (the psychotic cat)! Dogs rule, cats are awful!!
  8. If you don't make the Queensland Motorkhana Series Round 1 on 27th February, MAKE SURE you get to the club motorkhana on 10th April. The Qld motorkhana series is Serious (note capital S) with only one go at each test. The club motorkhana on 10th April is all about Fun (note capital F) with passengers allowed, 2 goes at each test and tests made up on the spot! Definitely book the 10th April into your diaries NOW!!!
  9. The first KCF Rallysprint is being held in the Jimna State Forest on Saturday 12th March 2005. Jimna State Forest is near Kilcoy, about 2 hours drive from Bris-Vegas. I think that the NEW Redwarf is making it's debut, and I MIGHT be making an appearance in a non-Datsun (yet to be confirmed). If I'm going, then that means Teddy will be service crewing. Septating (sic) is the BEST out there and the drive through the country side is fun. I'd recommend making the day a rollaclub mini-cruise! Who's going?
  10. [Grim Edit] Offtopic Cats & Dogs moved to offtopic - Here I have to say that I was very pleased with the numbers of rollaclub septators and entrants yesterday. The tshirts looked great too. However, I was EXTREMELY impressed with the rollaclub drivers - no stupid behaviour, lots of listening/nodding/applying advice and I was geniunely (pleasantly) surprised at how well you did. Great turn out, great learning experience, rollaclub should be proud! Do come again
  11. It is going to be SO great - heaps and heaps of people are coming along. Everything is in place, it's all happening!!!
  12. Exactly. Everyone wants one whether they admit it or not!! Mmmmm WRX.....
  13. Me = broken record DATSUNS are the BEST!! (Subarus are a close 2nd)
  14. It's the Cunningham Highway actually. I think it is JUST in the UBD, almost at the limit of maps. It's on Champions Way, Willowbank. Directions: - Get onto Centenary Highway, go to the end at the big roundabout. - Take the second exit so that you are getting onto Ipswich Road, heading towards Ipswich. - Drive along there for ages - past the Goodna McDonalds, past Redbank Plaza, round the bend, up the hill, under the bridges. - DON'T take the exit to Warwick, but DO take the Cunningham Highway, which is the exit after it. It will be signposted to Amberley. - If you get to a 60 zone, you've gone too far. - Drive along there for AGES - past Yamanto McDonalds, past the Mobil service station on your right. - Go PAST the turn off to Amberley, go past a petrol station on your left - Go PAST the big plane (you'll know what I mean when you see it) on your right. - Go past a cemetery on your left, go round a left hand corner. - Take the next right, there is a huge sign saying "IPSWICH MOTORSPORT DISTRICT". This is Champions Way. - Turn left into the drag strip (near the go karts) - If you go to Queensland Raceway at the end, you've gone too far. Allow 1 hour from Brisbane CBD. Hope this helps!
  15. Yeah, GO THE DATSUNS!!! Ah, what can I say, you're being mistaken for the BEST, you shouldn't be offended!!

Gosh there are so many people that run in those events and I find that you're so busy looking after your own team, that you don't actually end up meeting that many people. Or maybe that's just me? Short answer: no, sorry!!

3 actually! I am VERY excited. On the opening sequence and on the corkscrew stage. The commentator was saying "lots to see" (insert footage of Commodore) and "lots to hear" (insert footage of US car 607 going very sidways around a corner with lots of noise!!). The third was us just driving past very boringly. Lots of coverage for our Silverstone Tyre sponsor!!
  19. Yeah Teddy, I sort of can direct my dreams too? I have these weird dreams where I'm in a movie, but it's real life. Ie, I feel like I'm acting (it's being taped) but it's real. I've been in murder movies (vile stuff like Jason's dreams) but I direct how the story ends. I've been flying too (not in a plane, just me) and that was UNREAL I feel sorry for people that don't remember their dreams
  20. I just read on the BSCC forum that "Unfortunately the 2005 Brisbane Motor Show Touring Assembly will not be held this year but do look out for in 2006" No explanation provided, sorry
  21. NEWSFLASH!! I am delighted to announce that sponsorship for the ENTIRE Queensland Interclub Challenge has been secured!! The series is now called the Sherrin Hire Queensland Interclub Challenge The first round of the Queensland Interclub Challenge is still the Digger Autoelectrics Queensland Interclub Challenge Round 1. The sponsorship by Sherrin Hire means that there will definitely be trophies and prizes at EACH round of the Sherrin Hire Queensland Interclub Challenge! rophies and prizes will be given at the event presentation that, in most cases, is on the day. At each round, there will be: A trophy for the highest point-scoring team; Prizes for the top 3 outright point-scoring competitors; and Certificates for the top point-scoring competitor from each car club. Should be an awesome series!!
