i have a set of complete ra40 struts with freshly machined rotors, bendix ultimate pads [new], monroe gas shocks [new]. lower spring seats have been swapped for ke55 seats [one may need the welding tidied up but should be fine]. all that is needed to bolt into a ke55 is a set of ra40 control arms [adds a little camber aparently]. cost about 400 to get them this far will sell for 250 firm oh in tassie, hobat cheers, tom

Tassienats this weekend up at the delco dragway, ill be heading up in my little coroll aif all goes to plan. hey fellas, I'm in urgent need of the following parts. Windscreen wiper ball joint cap thing ( is a white plastic ball shaped object). Its a c**t to remove so I can get it off if you want. Also need a brake line long enough to go from one side of the engine bay the other other (digonally) to be used to go from the clutch master to the slave. and thats about it really. Went for my first drive in the corolla tonight. No bonnet/exhaust no clutch (had to roll start in second then shift up to third will street racer skillz.) and damn happy with how it goes. just hammers all the way out to 7000. Getting a 2 and a quarter zorst on this weekend with a resenator and with the above parts I shall be going once again. Cheers, Tom

Johny Rochester knows more about KE corollas (and probably A series corollas) that anyone else in tassie. I'm sure he was only having a joke, he also has one of the neatest KE corollas in tas (although not at the moment) some of the corollas at CO OP are rough but some are very nice aswell. looking awesome, its a shame most of the cool KEs are up in launnie but ah well. hahah I feel your pain with those brake booster bolts, I had the pleasure of doing them up yesterday when I was putting my pedal box back in and man are they sweet fun, especually the top left one. Nah I don't really want to sue the old guy, he was old ( like 70+) and seemed about as shocked as I was. But its true though, If he where driving a landcruiser or a patrol I would have gone under the car instead of over it and come out much much worse in which case I would want to sue the shit out of him. I think that he will loose his licence over it because the cops had him in the back of their car when I left so I reacon he will cop somthing for it. Cheers for the sympothy (spealing) Tom

Today was a gay day to begin with and steadily got gayer as it drew to an end untill this happened. So I'm tired and feeling sick as I walk home from work in the freezing cold and light rain. I get to an intersection and look across at like a 89 commodore ute, thinking nothing of it I wait for the light to turn red and the little man to turn green. As the lights turn yellow a RX3 rolls up at the lights which I was interested in having a look at so as I walk past I turn my head to check out the rotor. Next thing I know the grill of the f@$king commodore is cusing my legs great pain as it runs right up my arse throwing me onto the bonnet. The old guy behind the wheel suddenly realises that he has collected some debri ontop of his faded pile of shit and decides to remove it (me) by slamming on the brakes, tossing me like a rag doll from the bonnet of the car onto the bitchumen. I look up to see the giant peice of shit coming towards me, scared I was going to be run into (again) I jump up and start abusing the guy at the top of my lungs, he decides were fair and continues to drive up the road. I was in no state to chase him so I walked over to the side of the road and sat down on the kerb where some people asked me if I was allright and called an ambulance. The lady chased the old bloke up the road and got him to pull over. I got to hospital and got checked out and shit, I'm ok but my knee is busted up pretty good and I have some sweet brusies up my leg and some scratches and cuts on my arm. Old fag didnt even say sorry. Sorry I'm pretty pissed offfff, this all happened in pretty centeral town when I was walking from co op toyota down to cat and fiddle arcade. At least ill get a couple of days off work to watch midday telly. Cheers, Tom
