teza40 Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 (edited) HI TO All, ok so i have this ke38 panel van(2 door wagon if you like). want it too look different, have been checking out the neat corollas on here and noticed. that not many custom paint jobs (yes,ok its a personal thing wether you like them or not) i have done a few custom paint schemes on cars i have owned in the past and like custom paint as a rule (flames mostly). so got too the paint program in this computer and started playing with ideas, for the ke38 because I'm wanting it too be different (fast does not matter to me that much but looks do). so check these out and feel free to pass comments (or vomit if you don't like...lol) thanks teza40 Edited October 26, 2006 by Xany Quote

TheNOBBLER[RL] Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 The one up top looks sweet as, doesnt look too top heavy and gives everyone you drive past a buggered neck. Got anymore? Quote
ancullen Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 The top one looks great, but it's a ripoff of a car that was one the cover of Street Machine not too long ago. It's good, but not original. And I'd go black instead of white for the bottom half - it'd look way better. Quote
coln72 Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Top one for me but not in those colors Quote
Des Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 (edited) The middle one but a black background and darker pearlesent purple flames. Edited October 26, 2006 by too quick Quote
Lukey Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 last one but in black or red would look sweet Quote
teza40 Posted October 27, 2006 Author Report Posted October 27, 2006 WOW!!!!!! Some interest in this topic. ok so the paint schemes may or may not have been done already (i gave up buying and lookin at street machine magazine years ago). i guess i could come up with more styles,it really is a personal thing designs and colours. good feed back and thanks for taking the time to look and comment cheers teza40 Quote

That is if your talking about "VU for U". Not original but not seen every day. Apart from all that, the top one still looks good. Seams to follow the body line a little better. Quote

teza40 Posted October 28, 2006 Author Report Posted October 28, 2006 HI Rollacdmd, firstly thanks and yes i have done a few custom paint jobs on my own cars over time. I WOULD NOT SAY that i do a perfect show class job (but for a street car, regularly driven.i don't see the point in show class, some one will always stuff it for you eventually). i consider that i do a job that will last and look good ( I E neat n tidy ). Cost is mainly in the materials as with any thing you do with a vehicle, its also a time factor with paint schemes. Do you have your own design in mind?and colours that you preffer. if you would like graphics etc just laid over your existing paint,it would be much cheaper than a full respray and then graphics. send me a pm if you wish too discuss this further,I'm up for it. i love doing this type of work. thanks terry Quote
teza40 Posted October 28, 2006 Author Report Posted October 28, 2006 (edited) HI 2 ALL, ok another paint scheme, one for the yellow/mustard coloured cars. very much 70`s style like the ford falcon sundowner van or chrysler valiant drifter. some may like it and many may vomit, but it is just a design idea. cheers teza Edited October 28, 2006 by teza40 Quote
teza40 Posted October 28, 2006 Author Report Posted October 28, 2006 (edited) yep a bit more radical and some different colours. Edited October 28, 2006 by teza40 Quote
