I'm needing to know the correct silver colour to repaint my ke20 light surrounds on the front and rear. they need to match the grill, bonnet strip and the lower valance thingy.

I tried "inca" silver but it looks too bluish.

ditto to the above but painted white. Paint them all the same silver n(the original would have faded heaps or get a decent painter to colour match the original stuff.

Yeah i agree with Raven , mines all black and it looks aiight ! depends what colour your car is too . Dunno how black would go with that green colour of your car Jon ? i wunda how expensive it would be to get it properly chromed ?

if ya going for the old skool cool look.

 

u can't go past the chrome finish, i hunted down some good quailty pressure pack chrome spray.

and once its dry it actually loox chrome.

it worx on plastic and metal if u prep the stuff proply.

 

persoanlly i rekon all black just loox emo, hahahaha

The surrounds are so tacky on the ke2x cars. Color coding them like Redwarf has done looks best.

 

Toyota got a bit carried away with the ugly stick in the 70's. :P

its cool, i got the cans made up so i'll give the bonnet strip, lower valance and the light surrounds a freshen up to make it look new again.

 

i don't mind colour coding but only on hot colours, my colour is a bit too granny spec to start colour coding stuff.

i'll take some pics when i'm done.
