Finally had a chance to read your thread.Your plan sounds awesome. Matt from Hi- Tech didn't tell me too much about it! Did tou end up getting the crystal headlights? I bought a set about a month ago from autoparts world at Richmond. I think they were about $70. You have to change the plug on the back so they fit the corolla wiring. Keep it up mate.

what do the crystal lights look like?

i replaced mine with a set of Hella H4 headlights, which have the same plug. i forgot to put one plug on the first night i drove it and it was heaps brighter with just one headlight working. obviously with both on it is sooo much brighter again.

There's untubbed KE20's in australia running 10's

Faster!! Theres at least 3 running 8s untubbed.

I'm interested to see how this 3076R comes out. I personally don't think its very suited but I'm happy to be proven wrong. Theres a whole bunch of turbos between the 2860 and the 3076, surely theres one better suited in there.

Yeah i was very sceptical about the GT3076r when i heard about it...

But like people say, don't say u'll do it, DO IT!

and Mick's Motorsport have done it...

he reckons he had over 400Hp with that turbo...spools up nice...

Yeah i might have to head out and grab some of those crystal lights, they look sick...

HIGHROLLER, my front suspension is nothing radical. I've just got standard struts with Pedders springs, Koni shocks and all nolathane bushes throughout. The steering is all brand new. As you have seen it is all smoothed and painted!

Sweet, thanks for that mate...

Through all of my plans i have been in constant contact with a certain engineer...

He seems to think it's not hard to engineer, do it once, do it right...

He's always giving me advice on how to do work, what i can and can't engineer, tricks and loopholes...

SR20 would be different story, say goodbye to Mr Sump...hahaha

you can engineer (legitimately) up to a 1.9 litre turbo in a ke20.

you have it spot on. do it properly and engineering isn't an issue, just another expense. if you go to bodgy brothers conversions and cut corners everywhere you can't expect an engineer to just sign you off.

I like ur style JC,

John Virmitidis? from Consulmotive said he will register a SR20det in it...

apparently you can go by the weight of the heaviest variant of the model...

But it needs either sump work, or steering work...much more money...

HAHA Bodgy Bros....do u have theyr number? jkz...

thats it, i want all nice and clean and LEGAL so when i get pulled over in a defect stop i can drive away laughing...

Still on the lookout for a diff,

VL Turbo 3.45 or VN LSD 3.08...

cheers, Marky Mark
