towe001 Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 I think i may have lost my license today all cause i was too busy watching where i was going, keeping up with the traffic and didn't notice that the speed zone had dropped from 80 to 60. The cop was telling me that i would have driven past three 60 signs. And if i want to i can pop into the Beenleigh cop shop at a mutually agreed time so that i can check out my photo. And all cause i was too bloody busy watching the road that i didn't really know to well and watching and keeping up with the other cars i have now been copped with a bloody fine for doing 77 in a 60 zone that was marked out three (3) phuckin times. PHUCK What gears my grinds Three bloody times i missed the 60 sign and now i have to pay for my phuck up. Quote
love ke70 Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 oh come on, its easter, theres gotta be more whinging than this over such a long weekend spent with family and the like. i wanna see some whinging... and towe, that sucks dude, nothing worse than getting booked for a genuine mistake, where was this? I'm assuming beenleigh area? i got booked down south but i know i was speeding, so it was a risk i was taking. think i hated the time before which was less speed and alot less money, just because i didnt know i was doing it Quote
towe001 Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Where the Logan Motorway connects to the Pacific Motorway. Went from the Pacific up over the overpass onto the Logan. Saw the 80 sign but some how missed the three 60 signs. Went to the speedway last night. Was good including at the start of the racing when the sprint cars came out and started throwing little stones and clay around the track but it had my boy ducking for cover cause of the noise and the dirt being thrown up. Climbed into the pram that had a rain cover over it and he chinned up and started getting into the action. At the end of the night he was on my lap watching the racing with me.... Had a cover up to give him some protection. Was a good night except for having to put up with a 4-5 year old girl that was throwing fist sized (her size fist) lumps of clay back at the cars and telling any and everything to "Phuck of c*&^t" amongst all the other swearing and screaming she was making. And her parents were nowhere to be seen. Was grinding my teeth cause it was about the only thing i could do to stop myself from giving the kid a kick up and over the bloody fence. If she was mine i would have with the words trailing after her of "cut ya crap out and show some respect...." Quote
orangeLJ Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 Speedway is one of the best and most under-rated and underfunded motorsport categories in Australia. Ive been going since I was about 8 years old (during speedway season we used to be there every saturday night for the 5 months or so) Old man used to race V8 dirt modifieds, friends of ours race sprintcars so we pit for them, just building up a street stocker to go have some dirty fun again! Tume Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 WGMG is when good movies have someone else make shitty sequals. Don't really watch tv except for the occasional good movie and news. Mummy 3 sucks. Quote
LukeAE71 Posted April 15, 2009 Report Posted April 15, 2009 oh come on, its easter, theres gotta be more whinging than this over such a long weekend spent with family and the like.i wanna see some whinging... I wasn't online over Easter but I have lots of whinging to do.... This Easter was the worst ever for family things, we had about four including one at our house. All I wanted to do was work on my car and get the motor in but noooooo, another family do to go to. You start half doing something, then gotta clean up and get all respectable again to see the family. I ended up getting up at 5am on the Monday and worked my butt off to get the motor in before the next family do which was at lunchtime. I was still working on it when they got there which brought about some sighs from family members but I didn't see any of them offering to help. The motor is in so I am happy now but next year me and the wife are going away to escape the family. WGMG - Easter and family dos.....grrrrr :hammer: Quote
towe001 Posted April 15, 2009 Report Posted April 15, 2009 Oh yes i know that feeling all to well. And not just family do's but also last minute "we're going to such and such a place and who cares that you've made your plans for what ever over a week ago....". So i tend to get stubborn, pig-headed and just down right slow in what i'm doing.... I've even gone out for dinner with my face, arms etc covered in grease and shut. Not my issue that someone made a last minute change to the plans and never bothered to tell my... Quote
orangeLJ Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 we had my whole family turn up as a surprise at our house for easter breakfast. We invited my parents and karlies dad, and then they all showed up! although it was a pleasant surprise (they brought their own breakfast and stuff) so we had a nice first family get together at the new house. bit of a warm up for the housewarming this weekend! SNAP - I told my wife probably two weeks in advance that that weekend was devoted to getting the motor in and nothing else mattered. I still got screwed :hammer: Quote
