short(ish) update.

 

acquired a 'new' tailshaft from a ke25 at pick-pay-n-go, put it in and now no more vibrations or leaks :y::D:D bloody ecstatic!!

 

have purchased some new wheels which chrisandliz (thank you again) has kindly picked up and will be storing for me while i go OS (as they're in perth and i'm in vic). i couldn't have the partner see them arrive a few days before we leave, as i'm supposed to still be saving my $$$, not buy more 'useless bloody car parts'! :bash:

went of a short drive today for morning tea, took the back road to Ballan. found some spots for photos.

my holidays are coming up rather quickly, so the 20 will be left behind while i'm galavanting around Scandinavia for 5 weeks.

 

nobby will still take it for a spin every now and then, to make sure it doesn't feel neglected while i'm away.

 

i'm hoping it'll rain like all buggery in aus while i'm gone so i can have some perfect 24hr sunny days filled with drinking and dancing. ;) :? ;)

drove the 20 in with a mate. he loved it!

 

it backfires changing between 2-3 and 3-4, scared a cyclist or two taking off from lights.

 

anyway, expect a big post on the 27/28/29 of July (whenever i get some spare time at work after i get back) with plenty of pics (of either the trip or the neglected 20 covered in filth)

well, i'm having to deal with jet lag...got back thurday night, home at 11pm, bed at midnight, up at noon, still up now.

 

haven't got pics up from trip yet.....700-800ish i think, haven't done quality control checks yet either. not gonna be a fun job :lolcry:

 

went and got all my bits together for the brake upgrade. have everything but my M12x1.25 tap :y: hopefully a more thorough search finds them for me tomorrow, whenever i wake up.

 

i'd write more, but i'm a bit out of it...i blame this thing called "winter" and "darkness", things i didn't have to deal with for 6 weeks!!

yeah, it's one or the other, not both.

 

while the 20 is "much-o fun-o" to drive, it's got nothing on the crown.

 

and until this time next year, i don't really have the spare hours to swap stuff around and play with shit on the 20.

 

it'll be hard seeing it go, but i'm sure a nice country drive in the whisper quiet crown will ease my heart.

 

and besides, the crown is just the ke20's grandpa.....can you see the resemblance??
