Well, you know how to contact me when the time comes - I can wait as long as you want. If you decide to sell it and upgrade/swap, cool. If you decide you want to keep it for the rest of your life, it's also cool. It's your car, I'm just letting you know that I'm EXTREMELY interested should you ever want to part with it.

Yeah, you can drive the yellow Corolla - I think the clutch is almost gone, but I suppose that's what you get when you use a standard AE82 clutch. :sob: The motorkhana isn't until June 10, so I would think your car would be back in time - I'd be worried if it wasn't.

I've been investigating various parts for Project White Rider (the AE71). It's going to cost a fair bit to do all I want to do to it, but friggin' hell it's gonna rock!

Nice work adam Blow the buget, not the Block!!!!

My car should be call project (everything takes to long and is to exspensive)

Or frank for short actually it needs to be a chicks name hhmmmmm.......

Well if you're looking for a chick's name, you can't have Michelle (AE71), Lola (KE55), Layla (ZZE122R), Gladys (my old Galant), or Rhonda (my old Honda Accord). And I'm tempted to reserve Charlotte for the Starlet, but Alley reckon's it's got a boy's name, which is just plain wrong.

As for Project White Rider (it deserves capitals), the money isn't really going to be spent on the engine - it's more for fully adjustable suspension plus some special features I've got planned. The engine will receive special attention once I've got the handling setup nicely. The engine budget will hopefully come in at under $3,000.

$3000 cheap budget. I'm hoping my intercooler gets sent off 2day and wen cooler pulley n zaust I'm hopin for a low to mid 14, would love a high 13 though. that would make me happy enough to leave it as it is.

I'm after a good name sumthing different, unusual to match my car

My KE55 has apparently beaten a WRX in a drag, so I would think that with the extra traction you'd get from the mid-engine layout that a low 14 wouldn't be out of the question and a 13 might be possible.

For $3,000 I should be able to get cams, valves, springs, buckets/shims, metal head gasket, quad-throttles, custom plenum & piping, port & polish, engine assembly and tuning. With those parts I'm hoping for 150-160rwkw. I know that someone with an AW11 SC with a 176mm crank pulley and 288-degree cams made 188rwhp (140rwkw), and as mine will have wilder cams, the same sort of boost, more compression, and bigger valves & ports, I would hope that it will beat that engine significantly. Ideally I'd like to see as close to 170rwkw as possible, as that will mean I've got about 300hp at the engine. That would make it the most powerful 4A-GZE I've ever heard of. I was originally going to go for a 7A crank, but I don't really want to be limited to 7,500rpm.

Oh yeah, and with that setup I will be able to waste a certain S2000 in a straight line, and with the suspension mods I'll be doing, it will also out handle it to. And as I'm planning on using 15x8 rims, I might even get some grip.
