irokin Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 my celica will get about 400km to 35 litres on the highway. Its about 300km to 35 litres on the city streets. That was with the old motor that was loosing compression (and then died). Quote
kangaroosa Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 I have a similar product to the phantom grip (same theory though) installed in my RWD ke30 corolla. Whilst on the road it works fine off the line and through corners. When i say that it works fine - i mean that the car steps sideways under power. On the gravel its even better - hehe. The bloke that made mine explained that they are basically used in rally cars and last about 2 years of regular weekend rally abuse. The setup that i have is basically a few springs sandwiched between 2 thick steel plates that exert pressure on the spider gears. So i guess its basically the same product with the flashy looks. It had a $250 AUS price tag too. Here it is. http://www.rollaclub.com/gallery/public_up...iff%20small.JPG Quote
demuire Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 That's pretty cool. I've been waiting to hear what someone who had used it had to say... Quote
