fozz Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 Hey guys I'm using a stock 4k radiator on a 4age but its time to upgrade as I'm lookin to do a little track work and my gigantic 16 inch thermo fan wont fit :( so i was just wondering what larger radiators from other cars fit cheers Quote

My 20valve runs fine on a standard 4ac cooler, but I guess the 4k cooler is a bit smaller. Ive heard of skyline radiators, commodoore radiators, hyundai radiators, ae86 radiators, just about anything will work, but its hard to get the perfect radiator when getting one from another model with a different motor and cooling requirements. Id get a jap AE86 one if I was you, its made for a 4age rwd platform, or an ae82 twincam setup complete with thermos, if the outlets are in the right spots. Quote

Semis should be last on peoples list IMO. You will learn your car far faster on street tyres than semi slicks. Street tyres accentuate any bad handling behaviors making them easier to identify and tune out. Semis will mask them until the ragged edge when they suddenly let go and spit you off the track. Quote
