looks heaps better with the wheels on mark, looks good at the height to, seen it around a bit lately, surprising what a quick coat of paint can do to a car, looked like the diff needed a bit of weldin coming out of work the other day haha keep at it should be a weapon when its all sorted

i bought a 5k a while back, was straight out of a stocko liteace camper and it had a steel decompression plate and used one head gaskett on one side and soem spray on compound shit on the other, the old guy reckons thats how it came from the factory??

i did te twin head lgith set up in my ke38 about 2 years or more ago, was allright, bit different to what everyone else had, was kinda a way of tryin to make a shitty ke3# front look half decent liek an awosme ke70 front :lol: should be ok when ya get this thing on the road, is it higher in te back than it use to be?

rob74coupe: 5k isnt running, i psoted links to the forsale thread tot hem on the last page with full details of what the motor is, i want $150 fro the motor and $50 for the gear box rear wheel well looks fine to me, just pint the whoel iside of the boot black and lay soem black cardboard or soemthing in there and put ya spare wheel back in and botl it in, then spray it all black from under neath, they wont pay too much attention to it, hmmm, your asking about getting ya car passed for rego after you tell us you drove it from newnorfolk to moonah and back, maybee keep this smeg on the Dl mate, its a public forum cerby: i ahve a 3k bigport head in good nick ready to bolt on straight off a running engien, its ahd the welch plug welded up, theres a link to my forsale thread abotu it on the last page with more details, you can have it for $90

rob74coupe: you got a ke25? gear box x member from the auto will fit, bolt in the pedal box, the whoel in the firewall for the clutch cable is allready there, and ya will ahve to trim the hole a little bit to use a ke30 style box or trim a lot/cut a new hole to use a ke70 box, ive got a ke70 m/c if ya need it and ive still got the 4 speed and ya can have my 5k for $150 that ke30 2 door is neat, allmost a bit of a pity to rotarize it imo, but its your car, will be a pretty good sleeper,

yeah, its not bad havnt got any more pajero springs, got em from work out of a newer pajero, dunno what rate they are, pretty stiff though and plenty stiff enough for this thing, ive never seen the front go down under brakes at the track

that is my mums car 5k, twin solexs, extractors, side pipe, 5 speed, cut pajero springs in the front, ke70 brakes, flipped leafs in the rear and thats about it, goes really well and is an awsome car, we got it out of a paddock would you beleive about 4 months ago, had been stiing for years

looks good man, good progress, go the spares 1 wheels, they will look ace, we had soem no my mums ke25 for a while, they looked good and they are a good size and offset for stock gaurds, don't go spares 2, mk 2 spitties are very shite imo... lol heres a pic of the ke25 with the mk 1 spitfires (spares 1) they are 13x6.5 james
