ive got a 4 speed if ya intrested, and ya willb e lucky to find a 5k, i nkow soem one who foudn one in a hobart wreckers not long ago but very hard to find, if ya advertise in the mercury ya migth be lucky, thats were i got my current one? ya can use the stock engien x member, but ya will need another tailshaft if i remember right?

i boguht a 7k motor yesterday, but its missing the pushrods, plus a few other things, jsut wondering on the ever so slight chance soem one might have a 7k they wanna sell parts off, i was told its got a cracked head, but it doesnt look like it mould be to hard to fit an earlier k motor head to it, theres only and extra 3 bolts along under the spark plugs, any one know if 5 parts will fit it? also i ahve for EOI: a complete 5k, its got the head off and the head has a small chunk missing out of it, but i got another 2 heads with it that ive been told are off a 5k so they would go with it, make me an offer on this, otherwise i will just keep it

go get some springs out of a heavier car like a 4wd or something, i fitted late model pajero springs cut down 3 coils to the front of our ke25 to make it stiffer, worked a treat, jsut gotta work out something for inserts now, there a bit stuffed so it bounces but it doesnt nose dive under heavy braking anymore, just measure the diameter or your spring seat and go hunting for big car coils that will fit

you can run an intercooler on a supercharged or turbo engine, they are used for forced induction engines cars looknig good man, I'm not a fan of the ae86 kits on ke70's though, makes em look like camiras IMO looks bloody awsoem otherwise though man

go to bellerive suspension and exhaust in electra place mornington near oceana, or city car centre in town up the top of the car park next to honda central, both do very good work and prices are pretty good, as for paint, like aaron said find a backyarder, usually pays to jsut put the word out to people you know and other people who are into cars and stuff, usally it doesnt take long to dig someone up who will do it on the cheap for you

yes, $20 is the actual competition entry fee ypu will need a cams 2ns lisence aswell which can be bought on the day

get hold of soem of the latest editions of retro ford magazine, they are currently putting a busa engien into an Anglia, they were is the same boast with thinking it mgith not have enough torque, but they said it would prob be like a60's or 70's race engien with loads of revs to get it to do anything, would be a weapon IMO

a stock bigport 4age is ploenty enough to go fast and have soem serious fun in a ke70 with, if ya get it sorted to start with ya wont run into any problems for years and it will go well adn perform well

depending on what else is on, i might come up with the sprinter

celica st162 radiator, fits in with minimal mods and they ahve a good thermo fan on them from the factory, kept my 4age cool while drifting, motorkhanas and everything

down south there is a few blokes that pay $30 for small cars and $50 for large cars, they gave me the $30 for a bare ke30 shell full of my rubbish
