7shades Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 Well I'm off to the holy land in a couple of weeks to go car shopping for myself and a couple of friends, so I thought I might have a quick look at the auction yards themselves just out of curiosity. Um... I'm going to need some VERY comfy shoes. Just a couple here as examples... Nagoya. Note that there is a multi-level carpark in this one, as well as the surrounding lots. Quote
7shades Posted February 2, 2008 Author Report Posted February 2, 2008 (edited) This is the big daddy. USS Tokyo. 20000 cars on a thursday, every week. Each section is 4 cars wide and about 70 cars deep. That's quite a few. Edited February 2, 2008 by 7shades Quote
7shades Posted February 2, 2008 Author Report Posted February 2, 2008 As a size comparison, this is something many of you would be familiar with. Indooroopilly shopping centre, from the same elevation. Not exactly a small structure by any means. I reckon you could fit it a few of them into the USS yard. Quote
7shades Posted February 2, 2008 Author Report Posted February 2, 2008 And this is just me being a knob, cos I feel like using up space on the Rollaclub server. :jamie: Quote

towe001 Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 (edited) WANGAN freeway And late at night you can hear the sounds of the Devil-Z and the Blackbird racing each other Apart from that wouldn't have a clue, but i'd say that car park would be full of VIP and other shut hot modes of transport including those wacked out vans on saturday night Edited February 2, 2008 by towe001 Quote
Toy-Yoda[RL] Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 Daikoku Futo: spiritual home/meeting point of the street drifter/racer innit? The sideways boys meet there before heading to the hills, and the big players head for the wangan for rolling start drag races and top speed runs....... For a true test of outright power, rolling starts are it...... It's like a staging area in between rally events. (apart from the part where they get raided by the fuzz) :jamie: That the one? Quote
7shades Posted February 2, 2008 Author Report Posted February 2, 2008 10 points for the Taswiegan! Quote
