Standard new Hilux (Tilux..) at work the other day. 14,000 ish? kms old. - Gearbox noisy - Diff Whine from about 30kmh - Gearstick rubber floged out & moves around like a spoon in hot butter - A/C overgassed, compressor boncing off highside - passenger frotn seat base rattles - Both mirrors external loose - interiour trim left hand side vibrating @ idol - Window regulator loose as all fark, not holding glass correctly at _ all - w/a out something cronic (all over the road) - Radio speakers drops in and out, mostly around corners - possible rear shock leaks nice for a first 10k service, on a non-comercial vehicle hey? Des Posted February 8, 2008 Author Report Posted February 8, 2008 Thats a 1st ive heard bad about them. We don't have the turd models but our V6 hilux's and 2.7 seem to be bullet proof. Loaded up with 1.3 tonne 24/7, The only problem we have is the 2.7's don't have much bottom end. The old 2.7's seem to make spigot bearings shit them selves quick. Quote
