corolla_bitten Posted March 8, 2008 Report Posted March 8, 2008 (edited) Hey guys, thought id show off my new work car, picked her up for 500 bucks, after it had been sitting for nearly 14 years in a guys shed, spent about another $500 and a few months to get her on the road. Sprayed it myself in two pak, come up awsome, plus i picked up another van for free, so i had heaps of parts. its a 4k 4 speed, with 3in lower on the front and 2 1/2in on the back. This is now my 7th ke70 i have had and prolly the coolest cause its the panel van. Any ways, hope you all enjoy it. oh and how cool are my number plates... hahaha Picture links are in the third post, enjoy Edited March 8, 2008 by corolla_bitten Quote

aecorolla Posted March 9, 2008 Report Posted March 9, 2008 In my opinion, this would look awesome with quad headlights. Quote
goldke70 Posted March 9, 2008 Report Posted March 9, 2008 In my opinion, this would look awesome with quad headlights. Quads are hard to do because of the different sized corner lights.. means that there is a massive gap to the quarter panel, much bigger than the standard sedan gap... can't believe how good condition those front and rear bars are..... :) Quote
78_7kRolla Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 That is awesome dude. Kudo's for doing most of it yourself. Look after her as she is a rare beast nowadays. :) Quote
corolla_bitten Posted March 10, 2008 Author Report Posted March 10, 2008 yeah its fords citric acid, come up alright, yeah the bumpers are pretty good, back one has a few dents, havent got any inside pics yet, ill try and get some. yeah i tried to hook up some quad headlights from an early model corona but they are to hard to fit, I'm gunna try with some datsun 1600 head lights as my mate might have some. there is some on american ebay for about $300 i think, and the aussie dollar is pretty good at the moment :) neways, going hunting for a supercharger, got to load shot gun first Quote
love ke70 Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 how much was the colour? not worried about the rest, got that covered, just the colour coat itself? thats the colour i was planning on spraying my sedan, now its not so original :) cheers:D Quote
corolla_bitten Posted March 10, 2008 Author Report Posted March 10, 2008 paint came in a 4ltr kit, 3 ltr of colour and 1ltr of hardener, and cost me $150 off the shelf Quote
