Resetting it I think you have to physically disconnect it for something like 15 minutes but again I don't have any direct experience. Xany Posted January 16, 2005 Report Share Posted January 16, 2005 my old 5 speed box (the one i raped 2nd gear in) used to do it.....couple of times i was selecting 4th to downshift and accidently just touched Reverse. it lets you know about it thats for sure. Super Jamie Posted January 16, 2005 Report Share Posted January 16, 2005 i don't think i've ever driven a manual car where you CAN'T pick reverse while you're moving. or at least try to grind grind grind - that's why they're in a box! :) my current 5 speed gets pretty grindy when you try do flatchanges at 8000rpm to 2nd. i usually have to back off and wait till the needle falls below 7000rpm, damn worn synchros :P i really should put some oil in that thing hey haha Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
