7shades Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 KE70, 4K, mild mods. Pro: Cheap Indestructible Light Easy to fiddle with RWf@$kenD Good balance, good fun. Find all of the above qualities in a newer car, and I'll buy two. Con: Old Rusty Require more frequent maintenance to remain reliable and roadworthy Having to continually justify my choice in project vehicles to poser retards in R33 Skylines... I have the resources to buy their car, their funster boy haircut and their goddamn kidneys... with change left over give their girlfriend a proper night out... I choose not to. Go the rolla. Quote
Trev Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 Bag for buck - they'll beat a 4age any day of the week. :hmm: Yeah except those that end with Y. I will put my stock 4age against your stock k engine anyday and see whohas good bang for buck. Is your k motor faster than your rotor, They way you go on it would be. Quote
7shades Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 I'd say its mutual, but you don't have enough hair for me to pretend you're a girl. Quote

TOM Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 And here we have it, quote of the year from 7shades: (cons) Having to continually justify my choice in project vehicles to poser retards in R33 Skylines... I have the resources to buy their car, their funster boy haircut and their goddamn kidneys... with change left over give their girlfriend a proper night out... I choose not to. Go the rolla. Say no more. You are indeed a man of infinite wisdom, practicality and common bloody sense. Quote
Kid-Ae Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 Save the lovey-dovey stuff for over the phone or webcam, please! Pro's: Small and practical, nice on the pocket in terms of fuel Con's: Yet to get mine as things are taking longer than expected Quote
7shades Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 *ahem* That being said... I has a Chaser for da ladieez. Or as the case may be, lady. Quote

lappy Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 (edited) KE30 3K, Hot, Wild Cammed Engine Pro's: 70's styling Awesome speedway cars Good on fuel and handle as a road car Easy mechanicals for aspiring teenagers After being restored old people look and smile at my car Has more character than some new car your parents buy you Con's: Lack of passenger space in the back Vynal seats All in all a great car for a first car and a nice classic Edited May 9, 2008 by lappy Quote
Toy-Yoda[RL] Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 7shades: :hmm: that is all. love ke70: Bukkake = :D Trev: You don't seem to have fully grasped what the term "bang for buck" means. You mean to say that you can get hold of a running, clean and smooth 4AGE for the same sort of money any sane person would pay for a 4KC? If that's the case, I want to see where you shop for engines.......... Taz_Rx: I agree with the bang for buck statement whole-heartedly, but I think (personal opinion here) that 140 around bradys isn't a sign of a deathwish, 140 around bradys in the wet however, is simply a world of stupid. I've seen the fallout after a failed attempt at a similar stunt, and it wasn't pretty. TOM: I think you're onto something there........ Anyone think a "Quote of the year" competition is a good idea? *Ahem* On Topic. KE70 Pro's: Love the style, love the simplicity (If I can do an engine swap and Auto to Manual conversion, any monkey with a spanner can too), love the reliability, love having an excuse to drive in the rain due to lack of power to do proper skids in the dry. ;) KE70 cons: Trees, rocks bigger than my torso, 4 speed gearboxes (who thought only 4 gears would do?), cheese cutters, dry weather, open diff centers, and most importantly where'd all my power go? :) Quote

If that's the case, I want to see where you shop for engines.......... Paid 700 bucks for my complete and running ae82 twinky: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...t=0&start=0 Paid 300 for another ae82 twinky with some interior missing but had slotted rotors all round, Greenstuff pads, c56 box, extractors + highflow system and superlows all round. Swapped the bare rolling shell of the $300 seca + $150 for a bigport gze. I wish i could pick up a standard k series car for 700 bucks that would blow the ass off a standard 4age. Quote
Trev Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 trevits fwd :hmm: Ha, So when are you gonna give me a shot at the GE70 : (rip from the fast and the furious) Quote
