Miss Flirty 30 Posted February 26, 2005 Report Share Posted February 26, 2005 hahaha yeah its keeping me busy, will be consuming most of my weekend :D i was also told that to get the pin out of the piston i put the whole thing into boiling water, and i should just be able to push them out, so i might try that 2morrow also tomorrow i will continue to sand my wheels down, they had been primered, so I'm sanding it back to the metal stuff and am going to polish them ;) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm kidding claire!! I'm a gentleman and id never do a thing like that...... honest ;) yeah in water should work..... but oil is the correct way! may need to leave it in their for a few minutes, and try standing it up in a pot with the water level not quite touching the pin, don't boil it, but heat it on the element and let it heat soak, the piston will expand. prob wont just slide out but will tap out have fun sanding! :D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
