Cheers man

Yea i really like that stance, its similar to that of my dads supra, where there is a bit of room between the wheel and the guard.

I definately want some watanabes and those mk3's, That should do for rims.

Cheers

Haha Do you have any sound clips of a 304 powered 4age?

I think if its set up right it A.) Wont be too loud, and B.) Should be able to drive in traffic.

Any engine with cams so extreme cannot have too much restiction in the exhaust

And with 304 degree cams which are very large, drivability will be significantly reduced regardless what you think. Then you have to consider the type of clutch and flywheel which would have to be used...

Maybe consider smaller cams like 272 degrees if you really have your heart set on using it as a daily. My bet is that after driving it on the road for one day you will never want to daily it lol

Cheers, Ben.

I'm asking around and figureing out a different cam idea, I'm remembering my cam 4k, it was a mild cam and it was alot louder than stock, so I'm starting to get what you mean :D

Revisions will be in order, smaller cams on the way.

Will reply back soon.

304 is massive, ridiculous even.

Get somne 272, 8.5mm lift.

Remember wiring up the megasquirt? can you do it yourself? cost?

Diff upgrade? lsd? ratios? 4.3, stock?

Wouldnt bother with interior, especially in a daily, going to get dirty really quik.

Ok ive been looking around the ol' Tube

And ive spotted this:

Correct link:

I'm really liking its specs too :D

4AGE 7rib bigport

balanced crank and pistons

CR 11:1

ARP bolts

ported polished head

HKS 272 8,1 in/ex camshafts

HKS valve springs

HKS oil up kit

AE101 ITB + T3 adapter

90mm trumpets

TRD 4-1 header

MS n'Spark V2.2 standalone ECU

~170 hp under the hood.

Certainly a fun car, take a look :fuzz:

272° 8.35mm Lift HKS - p/n 2202-RT033, Using both intake and exhaust on a stock Supercharged 4AGEZ has less bottom end below 3,000, strong mid to high end power.

Sound like decent cams too

I would be using my stock jdm headers though

2" exhaust

these cams are easy to find too, so that will bring price of cams down

I was gonna class the diff and such in with suspension  but cheers for that

Cheers

Well I'm heaps stoked today!!

I pulled off the flywheel and clutch the other day, and today i was like, WOW this is a really light flywheel compared to the spare one i have, I'm gonna take them both home and weigh them on the scales at home

AND GUESS WHAT!!

The light one that came off the engine weighs in at....... wait for it

3.9KG!!!!!!

The spare one weighs 7kg

I'm super stoked!!!

It even looks heaps different, so aftermarket yea? I don't know!!

So yea I'm happy.

Cheers

Well my S/T 20v quad throttles turned up in the mail today, NO TPS!!! but he said it was included, so now I'm gonna have to try and get that off him.

But other than that they look great which I'm stoked about :P

So this weekend plan is Cut and Shut mates manifold for him, then I will Start making my manifold for the throttles.

So it sohudl be a good weekend

In 2 weeks or so the car will going into panel beaters for entire rust removal.

Then Its focusing on engine time.

Then once thats done get engine in and running, then suspension, then skids :P, then paint, then interior.

Should be good

Cheers

Updates: making my custom 20v st quads to 16v bigport adapter:

At this stage you could just about port this and figure out how to bolt it on if your running a smallport, I'm running a bigport however, so more customising...
