mmm just took her for a quick spin round the block. its a quick lil 4k, especially seeing as the zorst is half off. :P

think i may have a dodgy temp sensor, as it was at H for ages, so i let the car idle for a while with the cap off and it went down, but now it stays at under COLD. like after my little drive it still stays under C but the radiator and pipes and everything are really hot. is there a way to test?

prob had air in your system, running it without the cap on and letting it warm up would of got rid of the bubbles and hence solved the overheating problem.

I wouldnt trust an old guage anyway though

I heard something loud fire up yesterday when I was at the in-laws, and sure enough when I drove past I saw you working on it. Nice little rig :P

just don't think my car would be running under cold while the system feels extremely hot and the coolant was fairly warm. hmm.

hmmm still having a whack issue with my temp sensor. it pretty much will start at hot when i go into ignition then after maybe 5 minutes of driving it will crawl back to cold and just sit there, not moving anywhere...

in other news, havent done all to much to the car, put down all my amp/sub/radio/speaker wiring. cut a board to fit the boot and tacked a nice tarten rug to it. amp is mounted to the board that covers the fuel tank, all i gotta do is mount my sub and get a pioneer plug/loom to go into the back of the headunit.

washed the car today and when an took some photos of my mango peanut haha

Good Baseball oval :lolcry:

I can see it getting restored to former glory now!

Awesome...... I love this car.... it's the colour that gets me...... I really want the orange one thats for sale at the moment but it seems I can't have it. Too many cars and not enough room. :lolcry:

Put some pics up of your boot install when you get it all sorted.
